Hey guys!
The current prizepot is still $270 + keys. If you're hoping to donate to the prizepot (with even something small like 5 bucks or whatever) feel free to message me on steam or tftv.
I was hoping to have the finals this weekend, but I just learned about the flares that care charity event. Due to several players doing things in that event, we're gonna have to push back to the night of March 21st. I'm 99.9% sure that date will stick, but tell me if there are any conflicts and we'll see if we can work it out.
I still have my OS on my media drive so I can boot if my ssd fails. To me, that's worth the space it takes up.
Wholegraincommonly hated on tftv
is there actually a common hatred? i think creating content that appeals to pubbers makes complete sense if you're wanting to get the largest audience you can for tf2. unless there's something else that he did that i missed, i certainly don't see a reason to hate him.
he's been pretty great in all my experiences with him.
i do agree that you should have posted in the overwatch thread, op.
half my classes were band classes
the other half i didn't like
Some old internet friends of mine are hosting their annual charity gaming marathon. This year's theme is star wars. It's basically a bunch of dudes playing games from their childhood and raising a bit of money for charity, too. The stream layout is a bit odd, but the event has been pretty entertaining from what I've watched.
Figured this kind of thing might interest at least a few of you guys.
Do I like esea?
no
Do I realize that it's the best option currently available for na tf2?
yes
guys, we've been through this over and over again. esea is bad. everything else is worse. we need to work with what we have and get over it.
Reading that thread was painful. If you haven't looked at it yet, do yourself a favor and don't.
Yes it can. There's a !steam command that should give game/ server info if you have your steam account linked (iirc).
Title left me with low expectations. That was fantastic !
empty_setWhen/Why did tf2mix die? It must've died when I was taking a break from tf2.
Used to have good pugs every once in a while. All the pugs I played on it/ watched streamers play on it were terrible over the span of the month before its death.
A bunch of folks in our hotel suite at gxl watching the cevo finals cast just talking about tf2 in person was up there.
Also hanging out and taking to the new players new newbie mixes can be really rewarding. First airshots, first med drops, first wins, etc happen every Friday and I get to experience that over and over again.
Jintaban getawhale from casting plss
Ban the guy with sports broadcasting background and a job in live radio from trying to hone his talent for the benefit of the community.
I'm not saying I love everything he says on the forums (sry mike) but he's a cool dude that does a lot of last minute work when other casters have to bail. I never understood the anti-getawhale-jerk this community has.
