Plus and minus frags are misaligned in my android browser.
Don't have much advice because I've never been in a situation like this. I can tell you that your art is really cool though. Keep on keepin on man, gl.
Just a reminder that a lot of people's first games are due this Wednesday night (Upper bracket round two and lower bracket round one). Check the brackets! I don't want to have to add everyone like I did in the last event. That took a silly amount of time.
Also, we're still hoping to have $120 more in the prize pool to make the cash prizes the same as the ultiduo tournament. If you're interested in helping out (through the goodness of your heart or to promote something or both) please add me on steam or send me a message on tftv! Ty :)
Yeah it usually takes right around an hour for you to get drafted/ pre-game coached/ play the game/ get feedback. Sometimes a bit more sometimes a bit less. If you need to hop out towards the end, the coach can just hop on your spot without too big of a deal being made.
It's all about fun so just come by, play, and don't worry about it. :)

New favorite speedrun of all time.
Tennessee started a program that did this, and it seriously helped some people I knew about that went to my high school. I think every kid that is willing to put forth the effort to learn should have that opportunity. It's really stupid when certain factors beyond people's control reduce their ability to better themselves.
Good move, America. It's about time.
Kinda like everyone else was when you posted this...
defyyes that is when tf2 came out, which spawned from TFC (1999), so many new people to tf2 completely overlook that one major detail. the roots of this game...and the reason TFC never went massive is because it was overshadowed by other fps games like cs, quake, ut etc. also yes SC was popular at the time as well
It's my hope to include the games/ communities that led up to tf2 in this doc as well, that's a huge part of the games history.
eXtineThe nerd essays are getting pretty annoying. I know I wrote one a few months ago, but all the things you are saying could have been put in a moderately sized paragraph.
Says the guy who responded to my 15 minute vlog with an hour long video.
<3
you got a lot wrong bud <3
edit: stalin, it was a light hearted jab, not a rib or whatever. its all good
Implying that the reason we don't want to change the whitelist is because we're scared of change just shows that you've never tried playing with these unlocks in 6s before. We keep these weapons not because we're traditionalist elitists. Most of us just want to have fun and play a game that we can work towards being good at, and that's not possible to do with weapons like the whip, GRU, gunslinger, short circuit, etc.

edit: fixed parallelism
The positive reactions are pretty encouraging, thanks guys. I should mention the goal of this project is to be finished by the next GXL, but we aren't sure about that happening or not.
I'm currently building up a team of people to help out with this project. Feel free to add me if you have a lot of free time over the next 3-4 weeks. The first stage of this project is just data mining through a bunch of archived content. Looking for people willing to help timeline the EU, OZ, and AsiaFortress scenes. Also looking for a few other things. If you have a talent in A/V that you'd like to bring to the table, pm on tftv.
-nkoKevin, I can't add you to make the payments. Is there any way around this?

you shouldn't have to add me.
yttriumKevinIsPwntf2 doesnt need to change to stay "alive" or whatever. esea is huge this season despite it being winter, when numbers are typically much lower. we keep the meta the way it is because it's fun and it what we like. Not quite on topic with OP but what are the current ESEA enrollments looking like? From what I can see, the NA Open division only just made the cutoff of 50 registered teams. Wasn't TF2 going to get pulled without 50? Or does that count include intermediate and invite as well?

9 in invite
