#1 Crit Symbol Icon in Customization

Hey,
I have been using a custom crit icon for ages and all of a sudden it doesnt work anymore. Right now i have the file in custom > materials > effects > criticon.vtf . However by doing this it completely removes my crit symbol ingame. Does anyone know how to correctly install it O__O
