I know the basics of the piano but I'd like to get better at it, I've been told once you understand basic scales and stuff on piano most other instruments are a lot easier
The easiest and most efficient way to see if your internet service is the cause of the issue would be to monitor your connection by going to the command prompt and typing, "ping 4.2.2.2 -t", this will begin pinging indefinitely and can be stopped by hitting Ctrl + C, but if you let it run for a couple of minutes and you see abnormally high response times or significant package loss, that would designate an issue with your internet connection
considering blizzard ripped off many aspects of tf2's gameplay, I don't see why valve can't just rip off Overwatch's competitive matchmaking system
HidiI find what matters more isn't your internet speed, but your connection. I always monitor the quality of my connection so I know what to expect. On Windows, you can do that by running this command in CMD: ping -t 8.8.8.8
That will show you how often you are receiving packets, and at what rate. If you are getting a consistent and low number (Say, 50ms or less) then you are totally fine to use "good connection" network settings. Even if you drop the occasional packet, which is inevitable on wifi, don't worry.
a further addendum to this post, it's usually best to run extended pings when looking for connection TTL speeds, the best way to do this is type ping 4.2.2.2 -n 35, where 35 can replaced by any number of pings you want to run. Additionally, you can type ping 4.2.2.2 -t to ping the address indefinitely, which can be stopped by hitting CTRL + C.
bearodactylVulcanI don't think any net settings will help with the issues you are havingyeah i doubt it will magically fix everything but it might help
heres my speedtest idk how helpful it is tho

those are rly fuking good stats for internet but the problem is its still wifi so there's no way to get a consistently strong signal unless you lived in the middle of nowhere with no other wireless devices and and had a perfect direct sightline to your AP
honestly the fact that you get ~100mbps download and upload over a wifi connection is extremely rare, it's becoming less rare nowadays with 5ghz band connections and 802.11ac wifi connections but it's still pretty impressive
Doom1YeeHawPhoenix21can you explain why without just saying 'you shouldnt be able to do that'YeeHawthe scattergun isnt really the problem, its the class thats using it. i would hate to see a nerf to the damage of the scattergun or something like that, because then you're just reducing the skill ceiling of the class by not being able to 2 shot soldiers.you can 2 shot a soldier... but it makes 0 sense to out damage one.
Because to two shot a soldier you need to be very close to him, and he will see you coming and shoot you once with small dmg rocket and second one kills you and you lose. You chip him away from that "perfect" distance and then move in, not just w+m1 straight away cuz you'll die. The only time scout two shots a soldier is when he catches him by suprise, and even then you are usually left with just 25hp from that one rocket you ate to get cleaned up. I know it's just a complex "you shouldn't be able to do that" argument, but that's how this game works. If you couldn't use that argument then i guess sniper is the shittiest class in game because everything two shots him
If you have a good medic and play the scout vs soldier matchup correctly, barring a lucky direct or airshot you'll typically have around 85 hp left roughly, assuming no one else is in the fight. Granted this isn't always the case and a very talented soldier can change this, but like I said I'd say that's the case on average.
usually if ur connection has intermittent shit problems it's usually best to put the minimum network settings in your cfg just to be safe, especially for wifi connections
skatesTwiggydownfragging when i genuinely try to answer the topic smh
Is there only memes left over here?
YeeHawAnd so what? do you find it normal that only scout does not have to carefully count his shots when he fires? You can make plays out of the number of rockets fired by soldiers but can you make some out of the number of scattergun shots fired? No because its a weapon that does not promote the slightest glimpse of ammo managementTwiggyIf scattergun needed something, it would have to do with its reload. I've always found idiotic that scattergun's first shot reloads twice as quick as shotgun's first shot.
Not really because the scattergun is a primary and the shotgun is a secondary
Like hey I'm playing demoman but my pipes dont reload faster as my stickies, but pipes are my primary weapon on the hud WHY IS THAT SO I WONDER
if you count pipes as the true primary of the demo u are incorrect
yeah ur right demoman gets 2 primaries

if you think any of that is true i doubt uve made it out of ugc steel
oriental tf2 scene
isn't that what the kids consider racist in this day and age
sounds like mozilla is passive-aggressively poking fun at teamfortress.tv for not having an https:// prefix
I would check to see if your bookmark or whatever you use to get to this site has the s in there and if it does remove it, that should fix it
