Snackseriously what the fuck sigafoo this is fucking disgusting and despicable
Event PostThe prize pool for invite is over $2,300
sigafooWe also have 75+ teams playing in divisions without any cash prize. To put in perspective, ESEA and UGC (NA) have only about ~60 teams total in each.
And the most interesting part is that we have a "newbie" div that is 18 teams large, that is purely teams of six players with basically no comp experience. This is separate from our "Open" divs, which has around 22 teams.
It's been a long time since I've seen so many completely fresh teams in a league.

this is the mindset that is gonna keep TF2 from ever becoming something better. sigafoo makes a great point in the video that this needs to be tested so the data is there. valve tried it with MM but no one played that, they got no feedback, nothing changed. I hope people will take this into consideration and since it's a paid league players are gonna actually try in it
