update; its been fine so far, i deleted nvidia inspector which ""modified tf2"" (as steam suggests, delete any program that modifies tf2), restarted my pc, and verified cache. so far, the error hasn't happened buut im paranoid that ill have to deal with it again.
if it ever happens again and i get stuck with it, ill try all these suggestions.

i tried all those suggestions at that time and nothing worked. i couldn't play tf2 because no matter what i did, i couldn't get past that error. i tried all those suggestions on that thread, but one. which was resetting my pc.. i did that recently, and it everything worked and i was able to play again, until now. im now getting the error again. i still dont know why this is happening and i need to figure it out. i literally quit tf2 because i couldn't play due to this error. i wanna start playing again and play in leagues again.
help a brother out.

for about a year or 2, i had nvidia inspector to have my game all blocky.
i recently resetted my pc, cus it really need it. since ive done that, ive kinda forgot how to set that all up. i did watch this video(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RZaxV48lF8g) and believe its all correct. but, i keep getting the error message of "DRS_savesettings failed: NVAPI_ACCESS.DENIED"
i cant get this to work, anyone know about this error and how to fix it?

for the past 2 days, ive been getting this message on tf2 "An issue with your computer is blocking the VAC system. You cannot play on secure servers".
i tried verifying integrity of game files, re-installing, etc. i don't know why this happens nor how to fix it, so if anyone can help me out that'd be nice.
