#7 dorm room internet in TF2 General Discussion

The internet I had in northern Idaho had shitty download speeds (1-2 mbps), but my ping was always stable on a wired connection.

#7 monkey suit LFT in Recruitment (looking for team)

Monkey Suit is the best medic in Team Fortress 2. The Flying Circus should have been called The Flying Monkey with nearly 640 surfed rockets over the course of the regular season. He accrued 213 kills on his Strange Ubersaw, 431 kills on his Strange Syringe Gun, and a whopping 8457 ubers, but without them being tracked by a strange weapon. His team died before the season was over as he threatened to cut everyone if anyone ever told the public that he was playing scout on his account and medic on dr donutman’s account simultaneously. After speaking to teammate bsc, it is clear that Monkey had become a megalomaniac by being able to control the flank and the combo at the same time, which attributed to bsc being dropped in nearly every single uber because he was being taught a lesson. Allegedly, Monkey only forfeited his second playoff match because he felt it wasn’t time for the grand unveiling of his medic skills to the rest of the community, and vowed to return to Open and win and keep the $600 first place prize. Don’t be fooled by this wizard of healing, he has 98% accuracy with needles and can heal through walls somehow. The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese. All he thinks about is soccer, India, and cows.

#25 psychedelic experiences in Off Topic

Some people can handle psychedelics, others can't. They make you take a good long look at yourself and if you have any anxieties or self-consciousness it amplifies them. I think its good for everyone to try a psychedelic at least once, unless you just know you won't enjoy it. The way they alter your mind is unlike anything else you'll ever experience, but it can be truly terrifying at times.

That being said, I was on mushrooms healing as a resto shaman when my guild downed 25man hardmode nefarion. That was probably the most fun I've ever had playing video games.

#930 MAJOR TF2 update for 6/18/14 (6/19/14, Love & War) in TF2 General Discussion

valve could release another sticky launcher that has something like 5 sticks loaded, no damage rampup, and only 4 sticks laid at one time. you could play the old aggressive style but you would have to be smarter with your ammo.

flameRikachuhow does it let you get to mid faster
if your stickies do less damage when you drop em on the ground immediately, you take less damage from them when you jump, meaning you have more health on your way to mid, potentially opening another jump.

#98 Whitelist Discussion in TF2 General Discussion
bastidsydney sleeper, crit a cola, jarate, beggar's bazooka, those are just the obvious examples. no one's even really delved into the items that are unbanned. what happened to sticky traps?

i'll just end this here though because i've talked myself to death over this topic

Its pretty obvious you haven't played against the quick-fix much.

Have you ever det a 5 sticky trap on a soldier only to have him back up at full health in a second? Oh and there's no knock back either so he jumps into your team/the point. That's what the quick fix is, a more effective ubercharge that charges faster than the original, and always builds at max rate.

bastid
there are a lot of great QF counters that are banned (stuff that enables burst damage) and that's part of the problem too.

Like what? I'm curious what item that is currently banned can stop a quick fix uber capping a last point.

They do well in HL, they should be able to hold their own in open.
