they have no reason to, tf2 is not a growing game. however the distribution seems a bit off. you would expect it to *at least*
be double the cost of playing per player (recoup for fees + premium) for 2nd, rather than barely break even.

Brimstonehonestly with this update the new ui doesn't really give me a reason to go back
the ui feels pretty responsive, doesn't seem to lag, and we have settings to turn off image embeds now
new chat timestamps are still awful and make copying chat logs dreadful

Snack Why would you just go ahead and dismiss the efforts OP made out of his own pure will and love for the game? And in such an outrageously rude and offensive fashion too?
How would it make you feel if somebody just told you that participating in your Ultiduo tournaments would lead to getting cancer? Do you think it'd be fun if after taking all the time, and going through all the effort, hassles and difficulties in creating and hosting an ultiduo tournament, somebody just dismissed all your efforts simply because they didn't like the ultiduo gamemode? Okay it's cool that you don't like 2Fort, but for fucks sake, is discouraging community contributors really what we need in this game???
Knowing you, you will probably reply trying to defend your position or actions. I'm telling you right now that doing so will only give away how truly insensitive and disgusting you really are towards community contributors like yourself. I suggest you choose your words carefully.
instead of getting enraged over someone on a competitive tf2 forum mocking 2fort, try to comprehend that this would have more attention and reception on r/tf2, where people willingly play 2fort every day.
is vis being dissmissive of a contributor? yes. is this "contribution" really appreciable to the point where people are required to like and support it vehemently? clearly the answer you have is yes. if you want to call someone "disgusting" at least consider their viewpoint, rather than try to compare a pub server rotation to an ultiduo tournament and say they are equally appreciable here.

ive sent valve many well written but short emails and the only one i ever got a reply to was about a l4d2 bug in 2016 that easily force crashes servers. they said they would fix it quickly (they didnt).
