After being on a team with mustard, and hearing a lot of memes about him and all that, I I agree with most of that bear said. He plays quite well, especially on demo. his soldier jumps are a lot better too, and he understands the game very well. He talks a lot, which is good if you have a lot of very quiet people on the team, but if you have mustard plus another talker or two, you're gonna have a clusterfuck of comms every time you play.
I'd say his biggest issue related to comms is when he tries to justify and explain himself in the middle of a game. Many times if he's countercalled, or something happens where he disagrees with someone on the team, he takes time to talk about it and debate it during the match, and then people get upset and confused and the coordination falls apart. if he worked on simply moving forward and focusing on the current objective instead of trying to prove that he's right in the middle of a match, he would improve his teammate experience a lot.
outside of match comms though, he is an agreeable guy, funny and quite nice. He is really pretty agreeable and fun outside of a game setting, and will admit that he may have made the wrong call or that he was just plain wrong, but during games he really has trouble with just letting this go. I enjoyed chatting with him and hanging out before and after scrims, he talks a lot about stuff he's passionate about outside of TF2 which was interesting to hear.
yeah overall don't believe the memes, during the game it's his way or the highway, but if he works on that attitude, he could be an amazing teammate and team leader!
