I did a study abroad program in London in fall 2011. I joined a random football (soccer) club the first week I was there. They had 8 teams in the club ranked from best to worst and they played in different leagues based on how good they were. I was put on the 6th team because I was new, and I wasn't even starting. The first game I came on with about 20 minutes left, tied the game, then won it 5 minutes later. I scored at least one goal every week and worked my way up to the second team by the time I left.
This Jamaican guy I played with told me on the last day, "When I heard they were putting an American on my team I was really annoyed, but you're actually quite good."

Zambler is my favorite west coast Canadian demo (sorry benefit). He's super smart, with really great knowledge of the game. He has very good dm and can also tell you everything you'd ever want to know about anything.
