ehFkWho is this guy? Not trying to sound like a dick just wondering.
He's mostly known from the video game review show X-Play, which was on TechTV and later the G4 network.

messiahJwhy was I minus fragged so hard on my post here?
Some people are incredibly stupid and think that nobody should post in an old thread.
Computer science with a focus in software engineering. Probably going to do a math minor because I only have to take a couple of extra classes for that.
P.S. I'm so sick of that 'god tier' shit.
I'm only figuratively upset.
Right now I'm reading Hyperion by Dan Simmons and it's fantastic so far.
What is the location of the server?
To be clear, I wasn't arguing about the statistics, I was arguing about making unfair, baseless generalizations. So whether you say '90%' or 'most' it's the same thing.
This argument is terribly dumb and off-topic though, and I'm at fault for continuing it. My bad.
boppetPretty sure people defend the word autistic because they want to seem like such a down to earth person, who respects all human beings.
Next thing you know, they tell their brother/sister to put down the water gun and stop acting so retarded.
If you call out someone for saying retarded/autistic/gay/etc. 90% you are a hypocritical person. Really stems from bandwagon hate, and the people who want to appear as the "better man."
While I'm sure plenty of people are hypocrites about their word usage, I don't think it's totally fair to generalize or claim ass-pulled statistics like 90% (which is just a way to generalize while being able to claim you aren't generalizing).
The activities (golf, tennis, cycling, etc.) look surprisingly good for a GTA game.
+25 hp with mad milk means 150hp scattergun scouts, who can heal themselves by doing damage. I know the lack of pistol hurts and all, but damn.
kirbyWhat's your vsync set to?
I've always had it off, because I've heard vsync causes input lag.
But another weird issue I've noticed is that enabling vsync doesn't seem to even do anything. I've tried both in the options and in console (mat_vsync 1), and it doesn't seem to have any effect on the screen tearing, and it also doesn't cap my fps at my monitor's refresh rate, which I thought vsync was supposed to do.
So, over the past few days or so, I've been getting some VERY noticeable screen tearing in TF2. It's so bad I literally can't pull out my ham shank without noticing tearing from the jiggling.
I haven't had problems with this in the past, and what's weird is that it seems to ONLY be with TF2. Other games, including source engine ones like CS:GO, seem totally fine. The problem does happen regardless of the monitor I'm using.
Does anyone know what could possibly be causing this, or how I may be able to fix or alleviate the problem? Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.
P.S. if it helps, I'm using a 60hz monitor @ 1600x900. I use Chris' dx9frames config.
Valve to release rare weekend update 15 minutes prior to matchtime.
Adds nothing but Summer Appetizer Crate pt. Deux.
Why would you have to change it manually? Does tf_dingaling_volume not work? (I've never used it so I wouldn't know)
EDIT: Ninja'd with both the question and the answer. OKAY I GIVE UP.
TuggeribexI don't know anything about programming but www.codeacademy.org is good apparently.
Wrong link. This link ( www.codeacademy.com ) is the one you want.
It's actually codecademy.com, but they own that domain too so your link still works (I'm just being pedantic).
