i was in the same shoes as you. this happened to me like at late july. it was more scary to me because he had more than just the kidneys failing. if theres something you feel like you want to do, dont drink or get high. you should stay by his side and hope for the best. if its hurting you real bad to see him, go stay at a relatives or friends house
