Pretty much every generation says succeeding generations are awful. "Greatest generation" thought the boomers were a bunch of lazy hippies, boomers think X is lazy/selfish/entitled, X thinks Y is a bunch of socially awkward failure to launch hipsters, and Y thinks Z is full of whiny brats.
