I know it technically doesn't fall under playing with/against, but Lansky at GXL '14 was one of the nicest gamers I've ever met. Gave me a hug when he recognized me from his stream after I introduced myself.

I upgraded to 10 back when I built a new PC in February. I did a clean install, and while I haven't the majority of the issues that SGC has had, I will say that I feel like TF2 crashes more frequently than it did prior to the upgrade.

Might just be my imagination though.

Still have this saved from last GXL

My first match was against lv 15s who stomped on my 1s and 2s team. That, combined with how slow the game feels for a DOOM game, the 2 weapon limits, and perks and everyone spawning with super shotguns that can oneshot you without any real need for map control, was enough for me.

Won't rag on others for liking it, but it feels nothing like DOOM from what I experienced.

I live out in Parkville/Platte, Missouri. It's pretty okay. Nice park, and Zona Rosa shopping center nearby. But yeah, admittedly gets boring kinda fast.

Hey guys, I just built a mostly new rig last month, and since doing so my crashes to desktop have been much more frequent, almost entirely on TF2.

I've been experiencing 2 kinds of crashes, either a quick and sudden hl2.exe is not responding right to desktop, or a big freeze/audio hang for about 5-10 seconds mid-game, after which I am apparently still in-game, moving and such, with my audio still playing, but my video feed is frozen, calling for a restart.

The quick hl2 crashes are much more frequent than the hang up ones, but considering neither were an issue before my new build, I'm not sure what the issue is. When I finished my build, I upgraded from W7 to W10 on a fresh install, so I am unsure if it's the new hardware, possibly a flubbed installation of a part, or if it's W10 itself.

The only things I didn't upgrade were my GPU, and my drives, 2 SSDs and one HDD. Here's my DxDiag info, if it helps.

This issue is extremely frustrating as I play med for my esea team, and there's nothing more upsetting than getting ready to push with full ad into their last, just to suddenly be on my desktop.
