They're available in...Red, Blue, and Brown

Like I asked thrasher, which key type is best? Thanks for your time

...There is no "best", different people like different switches. I personally love Blue switches for everything, but a lot of people like Reds/Blacks for gaming. Its all personal preference.

Okay, I'll have to do a lot more research haha, thanks again :)

thrasherSwitch color is personal preference really. I've tried everything except clears, and I like browns the best.

Alright, thanks

TwilitlordI have red switches on my Steelseries 6GV2 (which is also in your price range FYI). It's a bit awkward for a couple days, but then you get used to it. I've actually come to love how easy they are to press for gaming, it feels softer to the press and the response time is pretty great.

Thanks, I may have to look into a red switch keyboard then :)

WintersunSteelseries G6 is pretty neat. Mine has Red CherryMX Keys but it normally comes with Black CherryMX which are harder to press if you're into that.

Do you like the red switches?

thrasherWelcome to the forums. Just a heads up that there are like 20 keyboard threads and people are going to cry because you posted this. Don't worry about it, next time just search the forums first.

Personally I love my CM Storm Trigger. Full KB with red LEDs (not that important, but I like them for night time). It's very sturdy and well made. I have mine with brown switches but you can get reds on it as well.

Have you heard good things about the reds? The keyboard I'm on now, the keys are not too hard to press (harder than a rubber dome though)and I'm worried the keys are going to be too sensitive. Thanks again.

I believe you can have them customize it a bit.

Thanks, I'll look into them

#1 Need a new keyboard in Hardware

Hello! First time posting on this forum, though I do like the streams :)
I've got an old keyboard that is starting to fall apart and I'd like to get a new one.

Budget: ~$100

I'd like to get a full keyboard, with the numpad, but my space is limited at about 18 inches. I've been thinking about getting: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009D8ZW3U/ref=s9_simh_gw_p147_d4_i1?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=00N2VV7TF2VAPQP4YY3D&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=1389517282&pf_rd_i=507846
(long link I know)

But it's got the Red Cherry MX switches, which I've heard some places are better for gaming but recently a friend of mine has been saying the keys are really easy to press so it's easy to accidentally press it when you're not wanting to, which wouldn't be fun.

So yeah, thanks for your help and time
