HDD R/W speed + Fragmentation of files is probably what's the cause seeing as I went through the same thing and was able to "fix" it.
Download Piriform Defraggler and defrag your drive (or just all of the TF2 files). Another thing that I believe I was told when trying to find an answer was putting "cl_forcepreload 1" in my autoexec. I'm now down to <30 sec load times again. Not sure how much each helped, but overall it completely killed load times compared to what I was getting before.

Doesn't say anything about fixes to competitive mode, so probably not? Just a guess though.
They updated Foundry and said (according to b4nny) they would probably have a stress test tonight. Very possible they use tonight to see if foundry is good to go.

SpaceGhostsCoffeeisn't Galactic Battlegrounds the Star Wars version of Age of Empires? I vaguely remember one of my friends having that and I always wanted to play that. A lot of the games on this bundle are worth getting, even if they are a bit dated.
Correct. It's also more than just a reskin, which is nice since it offers a pretty different experience.
Worth it for this game alone. Also I'm not sure if this is the fixed version or not, but if you run it and colors are fucked, there's a fix somewhere out there.

Speculation points to Hawaii. License plates on cars were Hawaiian, the fire trucks were yellow and white (color of Hawaiian fire trucks), the bird is a Hawaiian or at the very least lives in Hawaii (Red-crested cardinal), an item from X/Y is a Tiki, and is said to be from a place "far from Kalos", the Vivillon that was shown is only obtainable in two places, one of them being Hawaii.The Vivillon in question has the Sun and the Moon in it's wings. There's also an island in Hawaii that's crescent shaped.
And if you REALLY want to believe, in the 3rd Pokemon movie there was a book about legendaries talking about a sun god shining light onto Hawaiian flowers.
So yea it's more than likely a new gen that takes place in Hawaii.
