CURRENTLY NOT LOOOKING
Heyo everyone~
Peyote, our pocket, unfortunately quit due to IRL reasons. Highlight Reel is currently looking for an experienced pocket that is capable of playing at a high open level. This will be long term commitment as we expect to stick together for many seasons to come. We scrim Sun - Thurs, somewhere between 9-12 EST and will hold demo/map reviews during those times. If you rage, have a poor attitude, or don't take criticism well, do not bother adding me.
Whether we play ESEA or CEVO is completely undecided as of now, we will most likely end up just following the crowd.
Roster:
Scout - noona
Scout - leaky
Roamer - deep
Demo - jodd
Medic - kissme
Pocket -
Add me here: http://steamcommunity.com/id/Classy_Noona/
Also add jodd here: http://steamcommunity.com/id/j0dd/
EDIT: I forgot to mention that pretty much all of our scrims our going to be streamed by either myself, leaky, or kissme, so we hope you don't mind being on stream much.
E4 is a pretty chill dude and has some good dm. Won't rage, and is open to criticism. I think high open is a stretch, but he is going to get there with a solid team that is dedicated at improving. Good lucky buddy~
Yoona & Noona
What would we name our children
I've known Mikee since his first newbie mixes. The same day Eldritch came to me asking to restrict him from playing scout because he was too good.
Mikee has the potential to become an amazing scout. He heavily relies on his DM, and can be is very aggressive. Mikee can occasionally be cocky with his dm, ultimately resulting in his death, but with more experience his game sense will improve. He is very dedicated and motivated towards improving, and with the right team, Mikee will do much more than just fill the scout role. He's also one of the youngsters in this community that aren't annoying to be around.
Best of luck to you Mikee.
I might get there late, but they are for sure happening at reg times.
Every moment shared with griff, is a moment to be cherished. Great guy, great player.
EDIT: My title is misleading. I would like to play in ESEA or CEVO.
Heya Everyone~
I'm Noona✿, and I plan on playing scout next season in CEVO Season 4, or ESEA Season 16. I'm unsure on how the divisions are looking like for CEVO, but I'd like to play at a solid high open level.
I'm looking for a team that consists of a chill group of dudes that are dedicated, and motivated to improve, and also plan to stick together for many seasons to come. A team that scrims often, and holds demo/map reviews is preferred.
I play a 185 aggressive scout, but I would be down to adjust my play-style accordingly to the team. I'm PST and should be able to scrim at normal times, 9-12 EST Sun-Thurs. Other things to note about me is that I'm French (real french, not canadian), and I'm the head admin of Newbie Mixes.
I have been playing comp TF2 since December 2012, and began playing ESEA during Season 13. http://play.esea.net/users/570613?tab=history
Thanks in advance for any consideration~

Real dedicated guy, and seems to be one of the more consistent scouts I've seen in the game. Good luck beatbox.buddy :)
This is my current main choice for a league. The diversity in the rule-set is really appealing for me, and the thought of unifying the North American and Europe comp scene is really cool. Not to mention the way the divisions work are pretty nice as well. Would be glad to volunteer for admin work.
Just confirming that this team is dead. http://play.esea.net/teams/77769
They lost roomba, myself, and dingo.
AloSecz4chYep, this is exactly my thinking, you worded it in a way I can't.AloSecMr_PerfectI think that a TFTV League/ Community made league sounds intriguing and I bet a lot of people would be willing to try this out, hopefully...
I'm also in support of a TFTV league: it's the most centralized of all the current options. Almost everyone who plays comp TF2 has at least heard of TFTV or even visited it... it would be the easiest for people to transition into.
In my opinion, the best option is a merge of efforts between UGC, AG, and TFTV to create a centralized NA league.
I think that's a pretty good idea. Which leads to another.
Why not combine a bunch of these ideas? Have TFTV sponsor a community made league that is either made from, or made with tf2.gg? Have the competitive site, league, and pug system all together so we can be one strong community?
Right now ESEA's major edge on other leagues is its centralization & monopoly on the top players: everyone is already playing ESEA and the top players have nowhere else to play seriously. The easiest way for a new league to topple these defenses is to have a league built from the ground up by the community's biggest players (enigma, banny, etc) created specifically with the idea of making a uniform mass migration from one league to the other.
Emphasis being on 'uniform'. We don't have enough players to scatter them across two leagues. We either have one working league or a number of failing leagues.
edit: web-site based pug systems are facing this issue as well: tf2center vs. tf2lobby vs. tf2.gg
I completely agree with what is being said here, but the thing that manages to pull me over to ETF2L rather than a centralized TFTV League is that it will unify the NA and EU scene under one league. As mentioned prior, it may even catch the attention of Valve to possible repick (?)us back up as a competitive scene, bringing alot more traffic into this community.
Back on topic to the tftv league with tf2.gg, I've been chatting with pascal, and it is very doable. But it will take alot of time and effort. If we (We being used as the tf2.gg team) begin working on it now, it will 1) Won't be anywhere near perfect if it were to release around the same time Season 16 of ESEA would. and 2) Will most likely take a few seasons to really get the groove going.
BubbaDA_KIDalso, this is the lowest level thing I've seen that's always going on that actually has coordinationgo to newbie mixes?
He already does.
