I live in fucking "wine country" California. I have to deal with annoying ass winos and people who think they're all fancy just because they drink wine. Then there's the assholes who put like 2 goddamn rows of grape vines in their backyard, hire a Mexican to pick them once a year, take it to a local winery who puts it in a bottle, and then they get to brag to all their friends that they have their own brand of wine.

I have to deal with rich assholes in their Porches driving drunk around on the streets after they spent the entire day driving around to every goddamn winery and tasting room. I have to deal with the shitty winery tour busses holding up traffic every day. And everyone thinks they're sooooo "cultured" and shit because they drink wine like it's beer.

Please keep that crap out of my video game forums.

I like golfing. Unfortunately the cheap course around here closed down and the only alternative is some fancy ass club whose membership is by invitation only, and is so expensive that they don't have pricing available to the public.

I had the same problem. Turns out that when windows updated it changed a bunch of the settings in the Nvidia control panel. The "preferred refresh rate" was set to highest available, which apparently means "cap at monitor's refresh rate". I changed it back to "let the application setting decide" and that fixed it.

BF4 is fun as fuck. This makes me want to play it again.

Some other program's overlay may be conflicting. Raptr, Origin, Razer heatmaps, MSI Afterburner, etc.

I had this issue for a while and it was tied to the Razer mouse tracking beta. I haven't turned it on since, so I don't know if it's still an issue, but check what other programs you have running and try disabling some of them to see if that fixes it.

Take a break for a bit and then come back. Sometimes all you need is just new experiences in something different to put things in perspective. That experience could come from other games, real live, or any number of places.

The important thing is to not get discouraged and give up. You will get better, just don't try to force it. It will come in time.

I'm downloading the Media Creation Tool right now. Gonna try it out after GeForce installs the newest Nvidia drivers. unfortunately my copy of 8.1 keeps downloading something in the background through svchost.exe, so I'll either have to end that process soon, or just wait it out.
