Tea is a born fragger. I was very surprised when I played with him learn that it was his first season of competitive. He is 110% dedicated to becoming better and get yet more godlike scatter accuracy.
He's fun to play with too, many giggles.

Awesome thing about TF2 being old: there's tons of online literature about it.
Terrible thing about TF2 being old: most of the literature is outdated.

I offered to set up a server for my team. This included setting up SOAP for pre-ready up and logs

I specify pocket because I have a buttfuck more experience on it. If I happen to like the members of a team enough I could see myself playing roamer or scout, but I know I contribute the most on pocket.
I have played 6's for probably 6 seasons now and have over 1200 hours on solly. On my most recent team, the OK Kids, we advertised as mid/high open and won the majority of our scrims so I'm pretty confident in saying that's where I'm at.
This seems like the part where if this was a resume I'd list my awards. I don't fucking have any though except for making All-stars as a scout in UGC 9's. Thing is highlander isn't just a meme, it's a disease; so I take that all as seriously as I would Kellyanne Conway shilling horoscopes.
As for who I am - I'm 26, getting PhD in Neuroscience, hard to offend and generally a tryhard.

I'm okay with many of the graphics being turned down, but I enjoy being able to see bloodmarks on players from hitscan (if the other sniper got me because of his ping I want to know it and be mad about it :P), and I can tolerate having shiny textures (e.g. the gold part of the Killer's Kabuto) appear as they would normally (instead of the splotchy lowres texture). Which settings would I change for these?

I'm finally done with senior year, and it's time to play some more vidyagames :D
Looking for a 6v6 team mid- or better practicing on East coast times. I'm up for doing the summer season and I can do 5-6 practices a week. I'd really like to find a fun (non-asshole) group of people--not looking for any ca$h50 trolls and the like.
Anyways, about me; I've been playing TF2 since 2009, and I have significant experience in competitive TF2. played in multiple ESEA and UGC seasons along with some highlander. 600+ hours of soldier, probably 1.3k+ hours total TF2 once you account for idling time. I tend to have DM skills above the level of play I'm at, and I am religious in my 6-checking and pocketing behavior. I'm not much of a caller, I usually leave that to my med. I'll advise mostly when I feel the combo is under pressure or I am familiar with the situation. I find myself to be well-liked by my teammates (starting off with an adorable name like Pandawaffle seems to help :3 ), and I'll try to get that backed up with vouches from them v below v.
