Glad to see they are optimizing the game a bit finally. Sure the weapon thing is a small piece but hey, it can add up
ToasterDaggerxD
toasters name on irc is RaCecAr in case you want to know who you're gunna scrim
Can easily change it m8te
Meightate?
ThoxoYou can't have an alias named the same thing as the actual command.
alias vol volume1 alias volume1 "volume 0.1;alias vol volume2" alias volume2 "volume 0.03;alias vol volume3" alias volume3 "volume 0.00;alias vol volume1" bind "uparrow" "vol"
This should work, but I don't have access to a computer to try it out.
still crashes ty though
alias volume volume1
alias volume1 "volume 0.1;alias volume volume2"
alias volume2 "volume 0.03;alias volume volume3"
alias volume3 "volume 0.00;alias volume volume1"
bind "uparrow" "volume"
Crashes whenever I press it, instantly to desktop. Doesn't matter what key it is bound to
When they go to steam they have to make it more player friendly.
Plus lets be real they are not doing well as it is right now. The game is not popular
Firecrosshair 1
We dont talk about this.
Thanks though
Probably just over looking something but I can't figure it out.
I don't think that my cfg changed but I was using Lawena so something may have broken.

defy1. If I were to try to soundproof the room would it even be worth the money? From what I've read it sounds like this will probably be a waste of my time and money.
soundproofing is more for studio/recording purposes, it just seems like you have really thin walls. soundproofing foam/solution wouldn't magically drown out you talking. it will reduce the sound by a minimal amount but i guarantee they will still know when you're awake and talking. also when you're wearing headphones and talking/comming you're a lot louder than you realize so your voice is projecting higher to compensate over the in game noise and people talking in mumble
Thanks for the tip! I think I will have to try lowering my volume levels for playing matches and things of that nature, and have some cheap earbuds for late night gaming :)
KevinIsPwnIt may not make your teammates happy or whatever, but having a (kinda loud) fan will help with cooling for the closet idea and also provide some white noise so you don't seem as loud to your parents.
You could also get a nice cardioid mic and talk a bit quieter. I use a blue yeti and it can picks up words that i mouth into it.
Thanks for the advice :D I think I will run a fan, I do now and because of where it is placed I don't hear anyone complain about it (I place it so it all blows under my desk to keep my legs cool)
I've also invested some time and... "money" (not keygens I promise) into programs to reduce background noise that seem to help
puddline the walls with egg cartons
If not for fake sound reduction, at least the increase in design factor and feng shui.
Hey TFTV,
So I am currently 18 and living at home (This will change asap but I am currently starting a career in real estate and can't support myself alone.) Both of my parents work jobs that require them to sleep early on in the night. This is a well drawn HD image of the room layout:
http://puu.sh/awWom/1b0f30b55f.png
So basically what is being thrown around is that if I make any noise after 9pm they will start turning off the internet at 8pm. (I live in EST so that is way before scrims or matches)
I was wondering a few things.
1. If I were to try to soundproof the room would it even be worth the money? From what I've read it sounds like this will probably be a waste of my time and money.
2. If I were to move my rig into a closet (basically a walk-in with plenty of room) would I have a lot of issues with overheating? I don't have a great cooling system as is and while I have no issues with temperature in the summer, the room is very well temperature controlled. I would sound proof the closet with some basic precautions regarding the door gaps and the walls.
Option 2 is my preferred option, but I don't want to risk hurting my rig to appease my overlords.
Thanks in advance for any input that is in relation to what I have mentioned :)
