It's not so bad that it'll affect my rocket jumping, but it's nice to hear I'm not the only one having issues. Mine just feels like I have V-Sync on but I know for certain that all V-Sync settings are off

I feel like there's 1000 of these threads, but I couldn't find one that was close enough to my problem and didn't want to necro any old posts.
Ever since the large-ish update a few weeks ago (April update with the MM changes and all that), I've had some pretty annoying mouse input lag. It's not enough to be a HUGE unplayable issue, but it's bad enough where it seriously bothers me and alters my aim quite a bit. Yes V-sync and Mouse Accel are off, I've done mark c mouse fix, re-installed about 8 times, turned off the controller settings (as far as I know), used different configs, different direct x levels and all that. It ONLY happens in TF2 and is perfectly fine in all other games as well as on my desktop. It very slightly gets worse over time, but theres no overheating happening. I've had a few times where it fixed after a clean re-install but it seemed to go back to being laggy after a little while. My framerates are almost always 200+ even in pubs, so that's not the problem either. I've had the issue in the past but it used to go away after a few months, this time it has not.
Thanks in advance for any help!
edit: I forgot to mention that my brother also plays TF2 on my PC (different windows account) and I'm curious even if the settings are the same across the accounts (minus like crosshairs and sensitivities etc) that logging into my account after he was logged into his could affect it in any way?
edit: Also decided to check CSGO since I haven't and the issue seems to be there as well. The only things I can think of would be: A source engine issue or a resolution issue (I play at stretched 1024x768 on both games)
console deserves to be on a solid team and this roster is looking good so far. Tryout!
So my computer has been shutting down super randomly lately. Sometimes it’s immediately after booting into windows and sometimes it takes an hour or two. I’ve been monitoring temps/running stress tests and nothing has been overheating, my CPU is not overclocked and I lowered my GPU overclock. I’ve done windows memtest and nothing was wrong there either. I took everything apart today, de-dusted, reapplied thermal paste and made sure nothing was glaringly wrong. I also reset CMOS yesterday and that didn’t seem to fix the problem either. The program I’m running on my computer doesn’t seem to affect the crashes as it will crash regardless of what is running at that time. To be more clear, my computer black screens but does not power cycle or stop running, which is usually indicative of a graphics card issue, but like I said, it’s never going over 70C. The only weird thing to happen is that the last time it crashed, immediately after black screening I heard my GPU fans jump up to max power and then power back down. I’ll add my part list in a minute. I have a hunch it’s either a PSU issue or something with my motherboard. I do have a spare PSU that I’ll use to test either tomorrow or Monday, as well as a spare GPU.

I stream pugs/dm/mge whenever I’m on tf2 as well as some Super Mario Odyssey speedruns and OW on the side
Played a season of open a year or two ago and made playoffs

Anyone in Minneapolis for SGQQ? The venue is like 20 minutes from me, wish I would've registered to go
IIRC I changed the boot priority #1 to my SSD, and I'm pretty sure that was it. I had tried booting it on the SSD a few times before it stopped working but every time it would reboot it would tell me to select a boot drive as if it forgot I set my SSD as the boot
infinite-stuff
Please continue leaving. Thanks!
This probably isnt the problem, but I would check your temps while you're playing. Could be an overheating issue
Edit: just realized it was a laptop. I've had similar issues in the past due to overheating. Definitely convinced it could be the culprit here
Shdsteel that is magnificently beautiful
ShdSteel
If you have any pictures of the build, i'd love to see them
I know that a lot of people have posted in the PC Build thread about this, but most of those builds are 2-3 years old. Just curious what your guys PC specs are and the FPS you get in some games
Really good dm. Definitely has the drive to get better from my experiences with him subbing for old team. Could play low IM on the right team but definitely would benefit from playing a solid top playoff open season. Definitely a good pick u
UPDATE
Never heard back from Best Buy. So applied to sales at Target. Just got back from the interview and they hired me on the spot for a sales job. I interviewed with 3 different people (hopefully a good thing). Can definitely say all these tips you guys gave me hard carried my ass. I accept the carry. Thank you guys
Edit: I realize Target isn't very selective of applicants, but I still appreciate all the advice!
