#19 How to improve as Soldier in Q/A Help

One of the problem that new soldiers have is they always shoot rockets short. What you wanna do is shoot the rockets to the shins(right below the knee cap) of the models for maximum damage and not just the feet and they still be juggled. I figured out a way to shoot longer rockets but some may think it's stupid. lol.

That link should automatically force you too download it. You can ignore my cfg, and just install the resources, and scripts.

Is there a way I can get rid of the damage number in my crosshair and the crosshair changes color when I do damage to someone. It seems like you have it that way and I can't play like that.

#11 What processor in Hardware

Seems like 1156 socket is almost obsolete since it was 1st gen. I'll just buy a 3rd generation cpu with motherboard. Thx all. I will try the mat_queue too.

TechDudeI'm SORRY!!! I meant so say make sure you set it to:

mat_queue_mode -1

:(

shouldn't it be either 1 or 0 instead of -1?

kirbyNo. I think it actually helps raise FPS in some situations. It disables multicore rendering, so I'm not sure why disabling it would raise FPS, but turning it off makes sure you don't crash while changing ticks in a demo.

Also I know it's not a big deal or anything but it's ATI* 5770

It's amd radeon 7770, it's the 7000 series

TechDudeCPU-Z Doesn't hurt: http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html

You can also press Winkey+Pausebreak.

Make sure you have the convar mat_queue_mode 0 set.

Enabling that drops your fps?

#1 What processor in Hardware

Sup guys. I have a Gigabyte Ga-h55m ud2h motherboard, I guess it's a 1156 socket? I'm not too sure. Are there a decent cpu out there around 200 dollars for this motherboard? I have a amd 7770 video card and I'm only getting like 60 fps average so I'm guessing it's the cpu. Also, what program should I download to figure out what processor I have?
