Yeah I think it might just be Bell because afaik other people in Ontario don't have this issue :'(

#7 High Ping on TFTV Chicago Servers in Q/A Help
ShounicI'm in Toronto and I have 120 ping to pretty much all the chicago servers. Anything besides Chicago is okay though. I tracert'd a few IPs and for some amazing reason I'm connecting to Seattle first then to Chicago... I get lower ping to LA than to fucking Chicago wtf.

I am also in Toronto and you described the exact same experience. Is your ISP bell?

deetrtragicservers has been shitting itself the past few days, it might be that

Seems like there is still lots of people getting good ping on those, unless it's only being shit for specific people.

razeProtoNormally I pull around 15-30 ping on the chicago servers listed on the "Servers" page. But the past few days my ping has been ~120 on those. But I still pull ~50 on dallas and ~70 on west coast. So Why am I all of a sudden getting higher ping on chicago which is closest to me?

I tried playing on a valve server in virginia and got 35 ping. And I played chicago pub server and got 20 ping.

I have no idea what's going on but it's only the chicago tftv serversYour ISP may have changed routing.

I can play on other chicago servers just fine though.
