crosshair question

Pacman I was wondering if it would be possible to have a crosshair like the minecraft crosshair, which changes colour depending on the background colour?
edit: I am aware of hud crosshairs and bright colours; it'd be nice if my question was answered...

Learn to read. In my original post I have clearly stated that I am aware of those aforementioned solutions. I wanted to see if a completely new solution was possible, hence my question.
