pajaroplay lots of pugs, ask for and accept criticism from higher div players. i remember you added to senate pugs a few times and from what i recall you were a nice dude, but u didn't wanna listen to our criticism that you weren't healing hurt players quick enough.
Yeah that was probably my bad, I was just slightly annoyed by the fact that one guy was making fun on my british accent by calling in a stereotypical accent - at first I thought it was just for laughs but afterwards it just got boring and then annoying.
Normally I'm down to take criticism and I don't mind some micro here and there, but when you get some situations like:
Your demo is 50hp near a dispenser, nobody else is hurt or pressuring and someome is saying "ok arrow your demo here"
Like cmon, I know what to do lol
Just a bad day I guess that I went off on people after the pug, saying comms were full of useless stuff. Sorry to those guys anyway the comms weren't actually as bad as I made it out to be
anti2DuMmTmStep 1: be russianor like cloudy you can learn russian
there is no step 2
I actually would not mind learning russian, as it is a good asset in applying for jobs at the ESA
LFM russian ?
I want to look for a div 1 team for ETF2L HL, from coming 2nd from div 2 last season
Kind of hard when some teams aren't looking for a med or don't post on etf2l that often
I know that having contacts help a lot, but what can I do to get into a div 1 team?
Do I just ask my contacts randomly if they need or know someone that needs a med?
Also, on a more personal note, am I an unpleasant person to play/interact with?
Yeah sure I can be cringe at times for jokes that's whatever; I just don't know how to talk to people properly lol, but gameplay wise I mean
It's not about the quality... it's about sending a message

At least test in pre-season cup :)
We don't talk as much now, but I still miss you from all the pugs we had together; thsy were the most fun ngl
feels like sex on fire
what fyg said
BumFreezeif ur the one interested in getting more people into it then you should be the one to do it.
kinda stupid to say we shouldnt rely on arch beater and wiet for everything and then make a post saying arch beater and wiet should do it for you
They have way more experience than me, and can relay their experience better, which is why I suggested them - I'm still learning things from them too
It's not a mystery that the TF2 community needs more producers, casters, stream artists, developers, etc.
If we had plenty of volunteers, we would see practically every game casted, but we don't.
We've been using technology from the Dalegaard era and people like ArvhRhythm/Wiethoofd/Beater can't be around forever to keep tf2 production alive
Basically, we need more people on the broadcasting side - so we need some ideas that can best showcase, and generate interest, the fun and skill involved in tf2 broadcasting. What ideas can you think of?
I think wiet/arch/beater making videos on how to produce and observe is a step in the righr direction - perhaps even TF2 videos on the skill of casting too.
I am the big fat blob at the most southern region of EU haha
Doughy Good stuff
I could go on for a lot longer but I think this is enough for now.
.
No please, do go on when you have collected more thoughts - I want this guide to include as much as possible. Will edit your text in once I grab some spare time :D
Crayonvery small thing but i think those uber masking binds r fairly bad and it's always obvious that a medic is masking unless they use the MEDIC one, since theyre probly gonna be spamming MEDIC a lot anyway
also think the custom resolution thing is rly specific + unnecessary imo
also i think there's little to no point in watching legacy players on any class if ur wanting to learn
Yeah I kinda agree with the MEDIC mask, but tbh I just always fake uber - just my way to mask a real uber sometimes - as well as doing what you said and spam E
The custom res thing imo is not necessary at all; it's something I found in gedu's + mirelin's guide, and I thought - if you want to, well here it is. I've made sure it's explicitly stated it's unnecessary too.
The legacy players thing is to distinguish the old meta with the new, and also if you want to see how the old meta was played, well here you go. Also, it honours the medics of old to the newer generation - like, how many new players would know about these legends, unless they were mentioned in a mumble/discord once or something.
Very helpful stuff; thank you everyone :D
NB: I was going to add more stuff and release a more finalised version, but I kinda hit a writers block and started to procrastinate
Here's a medic guide that I want to be useful for all medics; noob to pro, 6's and HL : https://rentry.co/tf2medguide
Give me your feedback and criticisms, regardless of your skill level and your main :)
Also just turned 20 which is insane to me; time really does fly by...
unfiaboo Pyro flames blinds me
enjoy :) https://rentry.co/rfbag
