#12 why don't we host MGE tournaments? in TF2 General Discussion
yak404mge is a training mode to improve not to win

But is it just that? I know a bunch of people that only played mge and never 6v6 because they didn't like the stalematey comparatively slow paced speed of 6v6 so to them the best part of tf2 is MGE. Even dolphin rider though he played a few seasons always preferred mge. So when that's your viewpoint then you want to get good at mge and its not just a training mod it's the game. It's all a mater of perspective.

CBTReflectoEveryone plays to win mge. Such a stupid moving line of what is gay and isnt gay that varies from person to person. Everyone is trying to win mge, no one has ever played vs someone and played to lose.If you use your s key more than your w key in mge i think it's safe to say you are playing pretty gay.

Ah yes, the secret standard 51% S key homosexuality threshold. I forgot about that at the mge alliance. Idk, i don't get it. I play mge how i want to play if they start shotgun denying me its fine, I'll do it back to them. If someone wants to counter jump me cool, i'll shotgun deny them. But I don't cry about someone playing gay anymore just bc they're doing something to beat me

#50 darwin/grapejuice lft in Recruitment (looking for team)

Grape Juice has improved consistently for his entire time in tf2. I know he's getting very close to invite capable. It would be a real treat for a high advanced team with the expectation of staying together to pick this kid up because he will be invite ready soon. And if he gets the chance to play high adv and scrim vs top adv/low invite teams I think my boy will improve fast as fuck. No brainer tryout for any high adv team.

#33 Riot Games Character Based Tactical FPS in Other Games
lucrativei would not really consider those games to be in close in popularity to games like PUBG, OW, LoL, DotA etc

I'm not necessarily comparing them to the games you mentioned, but more commenting on how they are wildly more popular than any arena shooter type game while also having incredibly high mechanical skill ceilings and are able to retain a casual player base.

#31 Riot Games Character Based Tactical FPS in Other Games
lucrativethose games are too hard and take too much of a knowledge base to actually be good at so people don't want to invest time into them, way easier and accessible for people to jump into a BR or something and just pick up gun and shoot

But so do games like Smash Bros and Rocket League. Why is it only shooters that seem to be dumbed down so hard

#24 Riot Games Character Based Tactical FPS in Other Games

This era of games is arena shooter fan prison. Bethesda shit the bed with Quake Champions and now the player base is split 60/40 between Quake Champions and Quake live. And every new game coming out just looks like shit. Where the fuck are the high TTK skill expressive games without rng. I don't get why fps games have to be so casualized for everyone but meanwhile fighting games are somewhat immune (they have gotten more and more casual as time goes on) moba's are immune and games like rocket league and smash bros are hard as fuck but still retain a casual player base.

I don't understand, are they not fixing competitive bugs out of spite or because they are more complicated than other bugs?

crib_Nub_DanishBroking's messages with whoever that was are blatantly predatory behavior if you're going to ban nursey for saying inappropriate things to minors you better be banning Broking, that shit was fucked my dude
IDK maybe I'm stupid and I missed something or it's an inside joke but to me it just looks like his ongoing meme about controlling his medics with an iron fist? It doesn't look like he's doing anything pedo-like.

This is what grooming is. Grooming isn't messaging someone "hello 15 year old, can I interest you in sexual intercourse." It's a process of normalizing conversation and actions like this. I can fucking feel how uncomfortable this kid is through text. This shit is not ok and imo should be bannable.
