I can swear I read this a long time ago. Maybe even on this forum. Also there were big discussions about tf2 promod. Some group even went ahead and created their own version of tf2 with rebalanced classes and weapons, but they didn't get much popularity and support.
Eventually all of these ideas were met with a bit of skepticism and conclusion that all that would only create a bigger gap between the general tf2 and comp tf2 populations, which is crucial to avoid to maintain a growing comp community.
to be fair, looks like Yanis Varoufakis knows his shit. I hope his contribution in Greece government does some good.

I think that happens when somebody uploads an STV demo.
oh. Just remembered there is already something going on like this.
http://www.igmdb.org/?page=render
You upload your demo there and it gets rendered and uploaded to this channel www.youtube.com/user/GamingMovieDbTF2/videos
Requires minimal effort and you get a really good quality.

Edit:
However, there are some drawbacks:
* Because it is so easy to get your video out there, there is a high risk of bad content;
* I don't know if anyone is administrating the channel;
* the hud could use some editing;
* the graphics could use some fine tuning;
* It seems the channel isn't dedicated to scrim/match POVs only.
It seems like a good idea. why not? Does anyone get to upload their POV or are there some set of rules?
CPLAYs got this shit
Just listen to reason, data. You simply didn't have a budget to see through the development of the project and it failed (or rather, you decided to end it) just like many other projects or businesses. You cant expect to have a stable dev team with no budget, if the people you work with do not share the same passion. Your handful of programmers who decided that their free time is not worth investing to this cause had full rights to bail on you. Community didn't have anything to do with it.
Unless you were expecting some sort of monetary support which would make us (the community) your direct sponsors, but you didn't ask for anything like that as far as I know. But even then you can't blame your potential sponsor for not supporting you. Let's be real here.
can they locate where the drone was last recorded functional thus perhaps coming after their meth?
edit: nvm that. the payload is probably in the hands of the law by now.
HildrethCome on lads, someone add him and get him to do some comp.
cast? yes please, though its very unlikly, imo. play? He doesn't seem to be that much into gaming at all. I imagine his involvement with twitch is purely based on finding new means of making content on the internet and getting more exposure, and playing TF2 isn't a focus for him.
He looks like a really cool guy. Just watched the some of the VOD. He was trying a bit too hard to be entertaining. Must have been eXiting for him to stream. How many viewers did he have?

SalamancerI'm guessing most people also set that as their monthly max. So really, it'll be like $69.11 for the first vid I make in a month, and then more like $5 for the second, third, etc. Which is still great!
Honestly, I want to see the future quality of your videos, to decide whether I should set my limit off or not.
I really want Tf2 to expand. I'm not the man to make it happen, but I sure as hell want to support whatever I can. Take my moneys, Sal. Don't abuse my wallet lel.
