Play other classes.
I started off as medic for 3 seasons now and it was possibly the best class I could have started with, you see the game in a different way, A different perspective for every class.
It helps you get better personally and also helps to coordinate better with the rest of the team now that you kind of experience every point of views.

Not_MatlockI think the hardest thing about comp is actually finding a team and other people who are interested in playing with a new person.
About 2 months after discovering competitive and 6s format I found team on esea.
It has more to do with the goal of the team you're joining and the level.
There are always people looking every seasons for players without much experience but a basic 6v6 knowledge.
