No problem man. I surf and jump from time to time. I didn't consider either of those competitive.

You can run a performance test on your computer to check for possible hard drive failure, 3d ability on the graphics card and other possible shortfalls of your system in its current state. TL:DR Same thing was happening to me. Old 8800GT and older HDD failed. YMMV
