trogFor the hat try deleting HudPlayerClass.res and see if it's still messed up. Some hats are bugged and don't display properly, you'll have to wait until Valve fixes it if that's the case.

For some reason I don't have the materials anywhere. I've checked my materials folder outside of the custom folder, it does not contain it. I have no materials folder inside my custom folder so I don't know why it didn't download. And I'm on Mac so I can't use GCFScape to grab the materials from the vpk.

trogThe stripe uses the files bg_blue and bg_red in materials/vgui/replay/thumbnail. Make sure the vtfs and vmts for both are there, and if not download them again. Not sure what else would cause that.

I didn't test it with unusuals because I don't have any. Could you post some screenshots?

I tried to position the models so their important weapons were highlighted by the stripe, but for some classes like soldier it's hard to do so without cutting off most of the model.

When disguising it overlaps your disguise health a bit.

I downloaded and tried this, but the background appears as a purple and black checkered box, telling me I don't have the required texture. Unusual effects also completely mess it up. I know I need the appropriate files for this, but how did you get them Trog?

how to extend the green background? and is STV_HUD for spectating? if so, how do you put it to the resource/ui folder when some of the contents have same name?

Increase the "wide" argument in HudPlayerHealth.res under the "HealthBG" heading.

Yeah, I managed to figure out the "Uber Available" text that way, but I still don't know how he hid the stock percent icon.

First thing is so that the spectator hud does not clip really badly. It's not solved properly in the HUD though. Afaik this might be hard-coded.
The metal pickup thingy is in HudAccountPanel.res.

OK, I'll just deal with the panel then. But the HudAccountPanel.res also doesn't solve my problem. The first entry in there has what I think I need, defining positive and negative colors (metal gained and metal used), a font, and a lifetime, as well as the usual x and y coordinates. The lifetime was off, so I just turned it on and figured it should work. I put it at 1.5 seconds. Nothing happened. I changed the x and y positions around and I still can't get anything to happen.

2 more quick things:

The engineer build panel is located in the middle left with this HUD. I like that, it's fine. But, when I die, the killcam shows no build panel (as normal) but then the build panel appears at the top left, like in the stock position while I'm in spectator cam waiting to respawn and it conflicts with my chat box. How might I fix that?

Also, how could I turn on the add and subtract metal text? In the stock HUD, green text with a + sign appears above your metal count when you pickup metal, and red text with a - sign appears above your metal count when you use metal. I'd like to turn that on, and the most likely spot I could think of to edit it would be HudAnimations_tf.txt. I checked, and under a heading called "Metal Account", I found nothing. I figured Metal Account would be it, but there's nothing there at all to edit. I even checked a stock HUD's HudAnimations file and there was nothing there either.

That happens on every hud with a custom class selection menu just dont press it immediately after death wait for a second or two and it won't happen,

It's never happened with the 4 other ones I've used, and the one I built myself.

No longer updating. I recently acquired the blank version of yA_HUD and am rebuilding my own stuff off of that. It will not be available for release because I have a 16:10 Mac that causes many placement and font bugs for anyone who has a PC. I did enjoy making this HUD, and will take my new experience into working on yA.

Take my HUD off the list please, 7HUD. I recently got yA_HUD and am rebuilding some new stuff off of it. It will not be available for release becauseI have a 16:10 Mac, which causes lots of problems for practically anyone else downloading the HUD.

A couple more things after messing around on the HUD all day:

I've basically fixed all the clipping and font errors I could find. It looks nearly seamless now on my Mac.

I can't find the file for two timers that show up in Arena and VSH. The first is a countdown at the very top of the screen, which when hits zero, you are allowed to move and the round begins. I thought this would be a simple little fix, but I checked all of the arena, koth, and control point timers I could and couldn't find one that dealt with that. That timer is present in both VSH and arena. I've also noticed a second timer native apparently to VSH that appears in the middle near the top of my screen. It counts down from 10 minutes. I assume it's a round length timer, but I can find this one anywhere either. Help?

I've also got a weird bug where if I press the button that takes me to the class selection screen right after my death when I've got the freezecam of my killer, I get this ridiculous glitch that makes a huge black box appear behind the class selection screen. It eclipses almost the entire screen, save for maybe 500 pixels from the right and 100 from the bottom. Whichever class I have my mouse on currently, that classes loadout character will appear behind the class selection box and on top of this glitch box as well. The loadout character that's supposed to be above the loadout button is also there, resulting in two of the same classes on my screen plus that huge box.
