oh, i greatly enjoy games still. i've just played the ones i currently have a bit too much. I've sunk about 2k hours in skyrim in offline mode as a younger kid, for instance. mods galore.
i have other hobbies like working 60 hours a week. :D

I'm in dire need of a new game to start. I've been feeling pretty bored by the other games I play and the classics just don't do it for me. I want to feel the rush of starting and learning a new game, preferably a recent one as I've played most post-2010 classics.

I'm a pretty big fan of single-player RPGs. Also like sandbox games. Fast quake shooters or beat-em-alls just aren't my type, unfortunately. I really enjoyed games like Skyrim, Morrowind, Witcher 3, AC4, MGSV, Shadow of Mordor,... You get the picture : all the "mainstream" popular RPGs...

Well, no "gamer news site" can be trusted anymore, they're all sold out and they give shit reviews. Steam store browsing isn't really giving me what I'm looking for either.
Any single-player game people here? I need help!

edit: after further inquiry it seems mr therealweiner puts his best tryouts on the tftv post roster. there is no evidence of the existence of the actual roster save for recurring players (clay and himself)

I've been teamless this season so instead of just playing tf2 I decided to fill my free time between classes by working almost full-time. God, taking a break from TF2 has been one of the best things that's happened to me.

If you ever feel like you can't improve or find enjoyment in the game, take a season off. Not just being teamless, but actually almost entirely stop playing TF2. You can still hang out with your TF2 friends, taking a season off might not magically make you better (it didn't for me!) but it will certainly help you find interest in the game again. It kinda resets your entire view of the game and its community. I've never felt better about playing TF2 and I'm hyped to return next season, something which I had dearly missed these last few seasons where playing was just a daily chore.

stalemates in 4s passtime are still a thing, albeit very uncommon, but even stalemates are stressful and require a lot of focus. it just doesn't get boring, ever. action is always present.

not if no one fucking shows up, which is what they have guaranteed by announcing they'd be hosting a lan with cloud computers.
