#1 SSD troubles in Hardware

So today my SSD fucked up and now wont run windows. It is detectable in the BIOS along with my HDD.
I installed windows onto my HDD to see if I could format my SSD that way but whenever I plug in my SSD windows wont run, it gets stuck on the windows logo with the loading sign constantly cycling. I've tried to run this SSD on my computer and another and when its plugged in it wont allow the PC to run.
This is even when the SSD is disabled as a boot option in the BIOS.
I don't think there's anything wrong with the SSD hardware wise, if I could somehow format it I think it would be OK, is there a way I can format it by USB or through BIOS or get the computer to run with it plugged in?

Also, I do have a windows 10 disc, but that wont run through install either when the SSD is installed. I have also tried a USB.

Put the sibling back where you were taking care of it and the other might return, once it does capture them both for next time?

#20 Psychology questionnaire - once again... in Off Topic

Thanks for all those who filled it in, got 257 in total which is nuts. If anyones interested the aim was to investigate gender differences in pain perception.
At higher levels of severity (broken bones, blood) there was no significant difference from male to female, although it was slightly towards males rating lower pain levels. At medium levels and lower levels of severity females significantly rated pain higher than males.
Conduction of Mann Whitney U-Tests showed three significant differences in three of the eight scenarios and overall there was a significant difference.
Tests:
E:
The p-value is .006045. The result is significant at p < .05.
F:
The p-value is .000191. The result is significant at p < .05.
G:
The p-value is .000068. The result is significant at p < .05.
When all averaged per:
The p-value is .006074. The result is significant at p < .05.

Thanks once again :)

Viperjust a nitpick, but the sauce pan question could probably be more clear

only thing i'd be feeling is mad if a pot of unheated pasta sauce dumped out onto my foot, but sauce that has been cooked will hurt like hell

That is true... I'm hoping the fact it was on a counter has put the thought into peoples minds that it was unused.

shirtsnotshoesi don't get it. what's the point of this? What if you're someone who's never experienced 90% of these accidents? how does that information help

The point is not experience of each one. Primary aim is to see differences in pain perception by each gender. The experience question is there to see if there will be a difference in pain perception from those who have experienced a situation or not. i.e if someone has experienced a broken collar bone will they rate the pain higher or lower than someone who has not experienced a broken collar bone.

Menachemwhat's up with the whole "i continue to understand" bit? seems weird you need double confirmation

That's double safety and completely unnecessary, your right. We have to perform some sort of study and present it to the class, a professor and two PhD students. Thats just me preemptively striking them saying "this is unethical etc..".

quintoshdone

i think you should clarify the upper ending of the scale instead of just "a lot of pain" or is that the point of the questionnaire

It is not, I see what you're saying. I would like to change it but afraid if I do I might lose the responses...

yttriumhey it's not a quick fix thread in disguise

will fill out when I'm off work, good luck man

Definitely not:P thank you!

Thanks to whose who've filled in so far

#1 Psychology questionnaire - once again... in Off Topic

Once again, for the last time, I'm in need for tf.tv to help me with some psychology questionnaire i have to do for college.
Consists of 13 questions and ask you to rate pain on a scale of 1-10, its pretty self explanatory.
Would be a big help if you could fill it out, should take less then a few minutes since its just a checklist.
(especially in need of females to fill this out since the majority of tf.tv is male)
Thanks <3

If you want programs to be installed on the HDD then you need to install them on the HDD. The default is whichever disk windows is on.

I know, just that my PC seems slower after installation and my SSD is constantly at 100% and nothing is ever using my HDD. So is there a proper configuration I need? Partitions wise and setup wise? I dont need a step by step just a point in the right direction.. :C

#1923 PC Build Thread in Hardware

So i ended up doing a clean install of windows and my PC seems to be using my SSD for everything and nothing on my HDD, all i want my ssd for is windows and my HDD to run everything else.
So basically my SSD is at 100% always and my HDD is always at 0%, how am I meant to set up my hard drives?
Edit: When i did install it had some partitions (500mb of safe space or something) but I had to remove them to actually install windows.
