Is it possible to change the chat font? If so, where?
Where do I change the lifetime of this without changing lifetime of my floating damage numbers?

The charge bar can't be edited in HudMedicCharge.res. Or at least when I remove everything in that file and do reloadscheme, everything disappears except for the bar...
STOGEThe first box is targetid.res I believe.
thank you both

Worked for me
thmpsnlol the footsteps in the game, atleast since the last time i played, are too fuckin quiet to listen for unless everyone is dead or somethin. also listening for rockets is easy as shit and you can prob do it while listening to music or comms
Tagg has his sound way turned up and he hears footsteps he says. But I'm pretty sure turning it up that loud would give you hearing damage.
Hi, upon taking a close look at a friends fps cfg I found this little block of text:
// I'd be hesitant to say that you would see a great deal of performance
// improvement from lowering the sound quality, but in my experience as a
// competitive TF2 player, lowering the sound quality makes determination of
// directionality and distance that much easier. You may see a small FPS gain
// with these settings, or you may not, either way will likely have a
// negligible effect on performance.
So this made me very curious as to whether anyone can confirm or deny this and I would like to know if there are any other settings I can change to improve soundwhoring abilities.
(Soundwhoring, for those who don't know, is basically using sound like footsteps or rockets being shot to determine where people are.)
Here's a little something to simulate what I mean:

SpycyWhat would happen if an unstoppable force met an imovable(? eh my english) object?
It would penetrate it
"An _play folder still exists in ...."
Sometimes you get this error message when trying to launch tf2 from sourcerec.
TO FIX:
Go to your tf folder and move/delete the custom_play folder
nvm I fixed it, all you need to do is: in all of the text files replace this:
"ExplosionEffect" "electrocuted_red_flash"
"ExplosionPlayerEffect" "electrocuted_blue_flash"
"ExplosionWaterEffect" "electrocuted_red_flash"
with this:
"ExplosionEffect" "electrocuted_blue_flash"
"ExplosionPlayerEffect" "electrocuted_red_flash"
"ExplosionWaterEffect" "electrocuted_blue_flash"
doing the above made old demos look very bright but for the rest no side effects
The one that has a red flash on a direct hit has a blue flash on direct and red on splash, how do I fix this? It really bothers me, having red on direct hit would be really nice
It's an ancient bug that sometimes you can't see your own health or ammo (or health and ammo) in your hud. For medics the same can happen with uber percentage.
(example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-xJyNDJkceQ)
The way to fix this is just inspect another players loadout
command: +inspect
Default key is F
Sorry if a thread has already been made for this. I just wanted to get it out there because a lot of players don't seem to know this yet.
Who was going to be late again? I mean who was it that's going to arrive on friday?
