rofl pugchamp is cancer
6 stacks are fun, purchased just for how good playing as a 6 stack is.
Delpo is a fucking god, this man shouldn't play any lower than invite.
b4nnyTeams with good results > teams with good friends.
I can't agree with that statement. Personally I'd rather quit the game than hang out with people I hate just because they can do well in a game. Obviously there's a middleground between people you like and people that you can have fun competing with, but just throwing out personalities to play with "the best" is insane unless you're willing to put in the time and effort to get 1st place constantly. There is no economic justification for playing tf2 in comparison to just working any job, even a minimum wage one, so treating this game like a career is absolutely crazy.
What I said doesn't fully apply to you personally b4nny, what with you being in the premier position to become the main streamer of tf2 and the economic support your stream gives you. But to give that advice to anyone else while you know for a fact that they don't have your support network is pretty dumb. For most people 120 hours in 2 weeks is impossible, you can't do that while holding down a job and making time for people in your life that you care about. Simple fact of life that for 99% of the competitive community (let alone the tf2 community) this game is a hobby.
obe if you can't handle reading the word raped you should unplug your ethernet cable before you have a panic attack.

TLDR Pockets are easily tilted mentally because they have a perspective on the game that only applies to them, open pockets even more so.
It's super fucking easy to feel like you are the only one doing anything because you have infinite health and invincibility, you naturally have advantages in fights that your teammates don't get so pockets often lose perspective on how the game actually works. Pretty much all pocket mains who've never spent a fair amount of time on other classes will hit this stage if they're playing on teams that don't have extremely strong players on every slot. This is a thing every pocket that takes 35% or above heals will struggle with, because the game is extremely different with the heal beam. It's also very very easy to get ridiculous stats in open as a pocket and bloat your ego.
The biggest reason pockets don't rape in higher level games is because scouts are really fucking good and shut down aggro soldier play with good movement and aim. In open pockets don't have to deal with that so they get stats that are way better than they would ever be in a higher level. This also lends itself into open pockets thinking they're hot shit because they see themselves doing so well and when they watch higher level games they see invite pockets getting shit on in fights they normally win. They then make the logical fallacy in assuming that they would do better because they've only ever experienced open scouts.
Because of this pockets in open will never be humbled, pockets in open will only get raped by "sandbagging" teams and it's easy to create excuses for yourself when you are in that situation. All pockets that aren't asshole human beings quickly get humbled in IM or Invite because they'll finally encounter scouts that they won't win fights against. They'll realize that invite pockets are much better than them, they just get raped by invite scouts.
Being in open it's pretty easy to get frustrated, you're playing with and against people that are just starting their 6's experience and it's easy to build a major superiority complex when you're raping idiots who haven't got the experience/dm to challenge you personally. Even though I've just written this, I also fall into this mentality when I'm in a particularly annoying game. The heal beam lets you get great stats no matter what and it's easier to blame others than it is to blame yourself.
Trust me when I say that no one wants to be this way. Not getting mad in open is much more difficult than you'd think.
:(
Anyone recommending soda as a way to diet is a retard.
Timelimits are great, they let you know the max time something should take and you can plan around it. Also having a timelimit allows you to have a higher amount of rounds instead of first to 2. Cause first to 5 with no timelimit sounds horrible.
Stone is a great dude, I'm sure with more playtime and experience he'll become a solid gamer.
westyI love that Freestate is back on scout, he has monumental potential in him. But on the other hand, ninjanick is probably one of the worst choices Froyo could have made. I know he left TSU on his own terms, but if he didn't a cut was in his future. I'm sure there's someone they could have taken from high IM maybe??
