It makes me sad to realize that without the support from Valve, organizations such as Na' Vi wouldn't even consider TF2 as a possible opportunity for growth of their business.

I think there will be a few teams formed at the event, and yes, my team (sneer) is still looking for a demo/pocket. Bsly can play whichever one is left.

Even a LAN with 6 - 8 teams would be a fun time.

Skins are not difficult to make, aren't they just PNG files? Lay it out and paint a new one.

Also, we aren't asking Valve to be involved, we're not looking for valve items (although that would be kick ass). Why not just have the casters swap out folders in their TF folders before a cast. Takes 20 seconds to change outfits for a team, another 20 to change the skins on the viewmodels.

Just because they're hard to make doesn't mean the sponsor will shrug it off because it's too hard. They sponsor the team.... I'm pretty confident if this was made available in casts and streams, sponsors would spend the money to have a bunch of different skins made.. re-usable after every season...

Cute little shirts, uniforms, custom weapon skins branding iT!, logos on fully capped points, and billboards/sponsor sprays on the map would be something I'm sure all sponsors would be interested in seeing.

Yea, think about how awesome the casts would be with jerseyd up teams. couldn't the viewer also have the skins in their TF folders when watching the STV, thus allowing live viewing/casting with the custom skins?

As a way to increase corporate sponsorship, wouldn't custom skins on the team be beneficial? Custom viewmodel skins/outfits, representing your sponsorship would leave a constant impression on the viewers reminding them who sponsors the team. As opposed to just a tag in front of a name.

Nah, not at all. We wanted to play the match. We just can't. We had that time frame to play the match. On that day. There are no other options. So by them being 45 minutes late, and due to our generosity in allowing them an extra 30 minutes, now WE are going to receive the forfeit loss. On the server 15 minutes early, I lied to my boss to play the match on that date at that time, left work for an hour and half for it. Then they kept giving us excuses, "one of our players was hit by a bus". We tried to wait as long as possible to report a ffw. And because we did that, now we're going to take a forfeit loss.

And apparently killing isn't exactly consistent with his rulings in the past...

Perhaps a "pause" recording button could be implemented? Making the amount of frag videos posted skyrocket...
