They're both just being whiny bitches. Just game boys.
I wonder if it would be beneficial for the largest and first ever competitive main stage tf2 event to have some sort of article written about it by tf.tv. How many articles were written for iseries in the leadup and hype? Not a single post by tf.tv yet.
Whyyyyyyyyyyyy
This is supposed to be the biggest NA LAN ever, and the most we can muster for open so far is 4 teams? Maybe froyoblack will rise through the ranks of open to bring hype.

I'll never understand why the community respond the way it does to third party organizations throwing us a bone. It's fucking weird.
b4nnyThank you all so much for showing up and playing in the cup. I'm really glad things turned around from how they ended up yesterday. At the moment, I am thinking the next one will just be in a week, next Saturday. If you have any feedback please leave it here.
I'm very happy to eat my words.

Could tftv host some sort of last minute "fundraising" (read: donation drive) stream? Similar to toth but small scale.
I mean, if every dollar is matched, and there's a donation stream where we can donate for 1v1 or silly other things, do it mumble only perhaps. If we could raise 10 or 15k we could potebtially have a 30k pot + whatever marketplace comes in with
slamBergwhen is this starting exactly
Apparently .... Today... Some time?
I started a retail greenhouse, so growing and selling lots of plants.
Succulents, air plants, christmas trees, flowers, shrubs, trees, etc etc
SnazIf tf.tv was to write up a news post and perhaps replace the i58 highlight reel thread... It might help boost this upcoming LAN that's being hosted

It really hurts that valve is killing this game. And it really just boils down to them being stubborn.
Valve:
"Maybe whitelists are a good idea, but we need to test it out ourselves first guys"
"Maybe class limits are good too, but surely we can't just take your word for it"
"Ok, ok, we know you guys have been playing these staple maps for 9 years, but we need to do our own "research" and figure that out for ourselves."
For Christ's sake, this game is 9 years old and at this point a legacy game, and out of pure stubbornness they are killing the game single handedly.
Tf2 players seem to want to stay small, that way they can play the game exactly as they like it. I don't foresee any competitive league popping up getting full support. Shit, good damn valve came out with competitive and they STILL can't support it.
