i'm so incredibly shocked, this feels so surreal. i only knew yomps for a brief period but he was one of the most sweetest, lovable people that i have ever met. the most fun i have ever had playing video games was playing with him. he was always so incredibly positive and fun loving all the time, i loved him so much and adored our time together. obviously we all know that yomps was so incredibly talented but beyond that he was just such a great, joyful person full of life. i love you buddy, rest in peace

I never had a set alias before and in 2011 I moved from Xbox 360 TF2 to PC after playing it for years and I knew I wanted to eventually get into 6's after watching a friend scrim. I generally would alias as sentences in all caps and I wanted a simple, "clean" looking name to go by so I came up with Söapy because I found it aesthetically appealing as well as fast to say, I also didn't know that there would be a ton of other people with some kind of variant of Soap in their name (there's literally a mrsoapy wtf)

Also the umlaut was taken from the band Leftöver Crack because I was a little entry-level punk kid
