I bet Florida is cheering hard for Vegas right now. It would seem to make sense to rest up and let those 2 teams battle it out for another 5-7 days but when you are hot you just want to keep going as soon as possible to keep your edge and momentum. Would be sad to see the week or more layover between games ruin the run.

Defensemen on both teams clocked almost 60 minutes of ice-time in this game. A full hour on the ice, that is insane. If any of you are former players like me, you know how grueling it can be to go a full 3 period game sometimes. Can't imagine going 7 periods in 1 game.

I want Brindamour to win another cup because he was and still is one of my favorite Flyers of all time so cheering for Carolina.

Would also love to see Bobrovski win a cup and no go down on the list of best goalies to never win one. Also a former Flyer that I never wanted us to trade so that angle as well.

So glad to see the Devils get knocked out. Always warms my heart when Flyers rivals do not advance. Since there are none left, I can watch with total joy.

I would love to see Florida vs Carolina in the ECF. Hopefully they can knock off Toronto tonight and make it happen.

jude apologized and shriveled up like a scared turtle to myk's wrath. So satisfying

Toronto in serious trouble dropping 2 at home like this especially after such a strong game in general. Not much you can do when a goalie plays like that and also gets all the bounces or this series is tied at 1-1. Bob was fantastic.

Florida is on a roll and I have seen teams ride this wave all the way to the cup. Add on a hot goaltender and like I already said, nobody wants to play Florida right now.

Predicting SEA/DAL to go 7 games. Those teams seem so evenly matched and both games so far have been so fun to watch.

I don't think anyone is ignoring it. Seattle had a great win and its a good accomplishment but Florida beating the Bruins is simply a much bigger upset win.

A few off the top of my head are that since this Bruins team set so many regular season records, they were being considered among the best teams of all time. There was a 40 something point different between Boston and Florida which is, I believe, another record for a playoff upset.

Nobody would want to play Florida right now. They finished the season 7/0/1 and even with that finish they only got the wild card spot by 1 point.

They come in hot and take down the Bruins in 7. Toronto is going to have their fucking hands full.

Florida is playing really good defensively and 5on5 chances for Boston are mostly 1 shot and done. If Florida can just keep out of the penalty box they can maybe pull this off.
