Here's the situation with bowl in more detail as I remember it:
We (KND) won upper bracket in RGL Season 2 HL so we made finals, which was scheduled for the following monday. The lower bracket finals were scheduled for that thursday or saturday or something. A very large amount of players on both teams couldn't make the day for the lower bracket finals, so they both asked KND and RGL to move the date of grand finals back a week.
We were alright with moving it back, until we found out that Bowl couldn't make it because he was going away with family. He told us and the RGL admins that he could not reschedule it and there was no way for him to play grand finals if the day was rescheduled. We relayed this to the admins, that even though it negatively effected both lower bracket final teams (which essentially became two pug teams in the match), KND shouldn't be punished for planning around the dates given and listed in the schedule (which was the correct decision imo). Bowl saying that he couldn't make the reschedule was however main reason why grand finals couldn't be rescheduled, which the rest of the team was pretty okay with, as lower bracket would've been much fairer for both teams.
So yea a week later when bowl was playing an esea match during the time bowl claimed he "had no chance to play tf2 at all", needless to say RGL was rather pissed he blatantly lied to them and us.
