Terrorist attack (IS claims attack) in Nice, France

cirlothe thing i still not get is WHY these european terrorist attacks are almost just in France...
Is that because there is a large minority of people coming from ex colonies? If it's because of that why it doesn't happen in UK too?
Striking one country multiple times rather than striking multiple countries increases the chances of people questionning their governement's choices, which can create a civil war and paranoia.
Now why France and not some other country I don't really know.
