great idea but could you implement a button that automatically disables/enables everything?
KidIpzremove "no fall off dmg" from escape plan :) Minicrits+healblock are 2 downgrades already and should be enough
so you want minicrits removed and you just take 35% more damage?
I've streamlined the list a bit so the most important ones or the easiest to implement are on there
The reasoning for a few I didn't include:
• Easy cosmetic item removal - would take a long time to add this feature and there is already a NoHats mod which works relatively well (also I think valve would be hesitant to remove hats)
• Shadows not spilling through walls - although this is a problem with the engine you can avoid this problem with careful map design so I didn't think it necessary
• Allow higher tick rates - this would be a huge amount of effort as the game doesn't run properly on other tick rates
I haven't sent this yet, just checking if everyone's happy with this being the final list
I love it
it makes standing in house feel much safer
quickfix could still use some more testing, seems odd to cut it after a single cup for such an important unlock

Since it seems valve is willing to help competitive TF2 we should try to voice our opinions fast
This thread is an attempt to make it easier for valve to hear our opinions.
Try and focus on things which aren't too controversial (i.e. increasing field of view)
This is what I came up with:
Artificial item server
Having the item server going down can change the result in a match. An item server that works like a white-list for when it does would be very useful. Maybe it could be implemented only in mp_tournament so public players will still buy unlocks.
Pauses
• Enable players to connect and join a team while the game is paused
• Enable players to type multiple messages while the game is paused
• Fix spectator sidepanel freezing for 90 seconds after a pause in STV
• Fix players sliding after a pause in STV
• Add a five second warning before the game is unpaused
Map changes
• Fix shadows spilling through walls on cp_granary
• Remove the window frame on badlands middle in the house (it wasn't solid before the recent update)
• Explosive splash no longer goes through the spawn doors
• Spawn doors (furthest forward) on gullywash now hurt you (and sometimes kill you) as you walk out of them
Disable random damage
Despite there being a command to do this already there is still a slight amount of random damage. While this may not sound like much it can have a large effect. For example, the grenade launcher can two-shot or three-shot a soldier depending on this random damage. (I've tested seeing if the damage depends on where the grenade hits on the player and there seems to be no relation)
Teammates going invisible
The previous fix to this issue only partially worked.
Map score changes
• Implement some kind of halftime feature where the scores are preserved
• Switch the scores over when using mp_switchteams
• Show the rounds won for each team on the spectator HUD (like on the TFTV overlay)
These would all make the game much clearer for spectators
Shorten the Original explosion sound
The sound is very loud and trails off for a while (it's much harder to discern this sound than the normal explosion sound). You could also revert back to the old explosion sound.
Stop rockets and stickies colliding with teammates
At a certain range they explode/bounce off teammates which is pretty annoying
Add a player outlines through walls feature for watching games in STV similar to CS:GO
Add a ready-up feature for each player in tournament mode
This feature already exists in Mann vs Machine.
TargetID changes
• Add an option to disable the "last round you did..." stats. This option is annoying for medics when it pops up in a new round as it hides the targetIDs (so you don't know who you're healing)
• Add your heal target's ammo to the targetID similar to the targetIDs in Mann vs Machine
Changes to the Escape Plan
Remove the minicrits but add a player takes 35% increased damage effect.
This is essentially minicrits but without removing falloff damage.
I've probably forgotten a lot, so your ideas would be appreciated
