came out of a box that was already rare and hasn't been put in a box since
someone on twitter called it the "GabeBoy" and I don't think I will refer to it as anything else from now on
elrocaFor anyone out there that has a negative opinion of platy, I hope u know that he legit had nothing to do with what happened to platypugs. All he did was create the server, and let his admins run it. I don't think its fair to blame him for not being prepared to suddenly go from running a 20 man friend pug group to becoming the one of the only active pug groups with 200+ players to manage.
I agree that it probably wasn't what he was expecting, but it doesn't excuse the fact he let known cheaters play / become admins in his group and play in a tournament with a prize pool.
Platypugs was a good idea in the beginning, a group for NC/AM/IM players to get some pugs, but quickly blew out of proportion when the elijah/mxr circlejirk came in. Ultimately the toxicity and people playing there probably would have put it in the same place it is today, regardless of banning the cheaters, which is a shame because it was a fun place in the beginning for low-level players to play and now it's gone.
fenomenoOne thing I hate more than pugchamp is armchair psychologists
Proceeds to spend the rest of his post being an armchair psychologist
dishsoapeven if this guys a pedo i dont wanna believe what doves saying bc homies just sperging out on the thread
Yeah cheeto is not helping his case at all here. Also doesn't help that he has a long history of just being a psychopath / retard, dude screamed at my friend in a jump server for having the name "hot cheetos" saying only he could have the cheeto name.
you could make a custom chapterbackgrounds.txt file and put it in /tf/custom/yourstuff/scripts/ and have different backgrounds for each "chapter" (background)
backgrounds go in /tf/custom/yourstuff/materials/console/ in the vtf format
Looks something like this:

instead of background_upward for each entry you can change it to match the name of the vtf in the materials/console folder. i.e. background_custom, etc.
Foundry definitely seems like a map that needs a lot of work to make competitively viable, but it's by far one of my favorite maps in TF2 so I'm excited to see how this goes. From the screenshots it's a good start, but I believe the points bearodactyl put above are a good next step.
They spent all this time programming a check to make sure your projectiles would hit a target if it was too close to you, yet most hitscan weapons come out of the side of your screen and there's no correction. Then they were just like fuck it and had heavy's hitscan come from his mouth, like I will never understand Valve's design process.

This one is a absolute classic. Scout fragmovies aren't always the most interesting, but the interjection of memes or just random stuff make it a fun watch.
I don't think I've seen this one posted. I believe the original was deleted from YouTube but luckily it was re-uploaded.

RahmedAlso just turned 20 which is insane to me; time really does fly by...
life past 18 is at 300% speed.
With binds you could possibly also include a uber-used mask bind. While subtle, it stops your medic from screaming that he's using. ( It's also potentially useful to have the fact you used post to your team chat )
bind "MOUSE2" "+attack2;say_team == UBER USED! ==;voicemenu 2 2;-attack2"
also I do like the section discussing toxicity, as it's something I feel is overlooked by a lot of teams. I nearly had a team of close friends breakup entirely midseason because of it.
