I have over 2k hours in TF2 and have been playing comp for a little over a year. I've played 2 seasons of HL, moving up to my third in Steel. I'm on a Steel 4v4 team and a 6v6 team.

Yeah, that sure helps, but I was more or less looking for some console command similar to hud_reloadscheme that would allow you to reload the main menu to see changes to it made in mainmenuoverride.res
Hello TFTV. I would like to know if there is any other way to see the changes you make to the main menu after editing mainmenuoverride.res? Other than closing the game and relaunching it.
It's simply a nuisance to have to start and stop the game several times to see simple changes to the file.

the only way to "fix it" is to make the length of time that the crosshair is red as low as possible because the error occurs if its red on the frame you die
I'm just assuming it's one of those things on valve's end since i've never had a hud without this problem
I wasn't talking about the crosshair, but it's generally the same idea. Thanks for the reply. It's unfortunate that there is no fix to it.
MoistMelonshud_reloadscheme is the temporary fix, isn't it?
It is, but a lot of people don't realize that, and will complain about it being a "bug in the HUD," when in reality it's a Valve bug according to #2.
Hey TFTV, I've been having an annoying issue with my HUD in relation to the hudanimations_tf.txt. Basically what happens is when you go into the red with your HP and die, you are still in the "red" when you respawn. A similar issue occurs with weapons, as I have it set so that your ammo numbers become red when you are low on ammo. And if you die while low on ammo, you respawn with red ammo numbers.
Is there anyway to fix this?
