#13 my computer is horrible and im sad and emo. in Hardware

Hi Asian friend Steve Chen here. Unless you overclock the cpu, thats about the best frames you can get. Source games are super cpu dependent and don't really care about the gpu. You probably will be able to find some guides online to tweak your csgo settings but your tf2 framerate isn't going to improve much.

#103 1/25/15 New Open teams, how are you doing? in TF2 General Discussion
clyph0rdIs it common for teams to sandbag in IRC?

I always ask for low open scrims.
In the past three weeks, we've scrimmed two IM teams, one high open team running two huntsman snipers, and an invite team (all of whom said they were low open to scrim us). The only one I recognized before we started was the invite team, who, when asked why the fuck they were trying to scrim a low open team, said something along the lines of "we aren't going to try hard."

I don't know about anyone else, but I personally think this is kinda ridiculous :/
Our team only has time for 2 or 3 scrims a night, and it's frustrating when people waste our time with 5-0 rolls. Not sure if the other team is looking to screw around, or just get a confidence boost or something, but we are all pretty tired of it (especially since we already get 5-0'd against any mid open teams).

At this point I should probably go memorize the names of everyone in invite, IM, and high open.
[/rant]

I've been trying to find other low open teams to schedule scrims with, with very little success. I am quite sure I am shitty at scheduling, but it seems weird that of the approx. five other teams I try to scrim regularly, only one is ever available more than like one night a week.

If you consider yourself a very low open team, feel free to add me.

Confirmation that we aren't secretly an invite team looking to waste your time.

You can always add team leaders/schedulers yourself on steam and schedule your scrims in advance. Since your team is ranked 46, the likely hood of teams in the lower half of open(25-58) will very likely be around your skill level. Due to the nature of eSports players and their introverted yet competitive mindset most won't go out of their way to add you for scrims since they want to get better rather than sit comfortably in their current ranking. So my advice is to add team leaders near your skill level according to the ESEA rankings. IRC is usually a last minute resort for finding teams near your skill level due to the amount of people that actually play this game. Divs with lower number of teams(invite,IM) almost always schedule their scrims in advance to avoid having to play non-ideal esport teams.

tl;dr: schedule with low open leaders. irc only if you're desperate

#6 If you can code, please read. in Off Topic
Data But if you see it this way, by helping out, you're helping eSports.

Please stop. I know you mean well and want to see the community grow. But based of the information on your portfolio I don't think this project is going to help eSports or TF2, at all.

You've already killed 4 smaller scale gaming projects by the age of 15 and you want to make an entire eSports league without any experience. I don't wanna seem like a big bad bully but you should really stop so you don't waste your own time. You're not gonna get the final product you (or the community) are going to want off of volunteers alone.
