Very true, and i actually have more respect for degu, both because on the one hand, his "joke" wasn't really as bad and on the other, at least he's trying to take responsibility. I especially agree with the fact that these two are now the major villains despite this being a much larger issue. However, it honestly doesn't seem like he regrets it, which links back to this whole issue of stuff that should not be okay being seen as okay. As for Pred, i'm honestly willing to suspend judgement until he has his say, though it'll have to be a fucking magical say to talk himself out of this shitstorm.

This cycle of a shitstorm starting and then people forgetting about it and rinse and repeat would be so much easier to break if people knew not to be insensitive cunts or, at the very fucking least, be able to apologise and take responsibility when they do.
