Play a lot of stuff by foo fighters, in flames, rhcp, joe satriani, lamb of god. Would just like an all around kind of bass dont really want to focus on one genre, essentially the stratocaster for bass. I know fender do the precision/jazz bass but would like something different.

I dont really have the time anymore to play tf2 due to my job so I was thinking about getting back into playing the guitar. However I'd like to start getting into playing bass as its something a little different.
I've played the guitar for like 15 years so I'm not a complete beginner.
Looking to spend around £300 but if the suggestions are in dollars I can easily convert the price.
Current equipment I have, dno if it helps but I guess it can give a little indication as to what I play:

SaturniteIt could also be ref/key based, too. Stuff like Paypal burns you on small transactions.
this looks like the better option, could have it so its like every 5 pugs you play as med you get a key
only thing you can do is not play MM valve wants everyone on a level playing field so they force everyone to use dx9 and also disables most of the commands used in fps configs
