figsyYou're right. In my opinion, pedophilia (even without acting on it) is morally wrong because it creates a market for child pornography and child sex slavery (which is bad for reasons I previously mentioned). But I don't really want to get into that discussion.

you cant just nonchalantly say that someones existence is morally wrong, and then not want to get into that discussion. In the past, it was not uncommon for men to take wives that were still quite young. granted, it was usually 13 years or older, but at what point can we say that someone is mature enough? what is old enough? when were the laws granting age of consent added? what was the average age of marriage at the time? theres way too much gray area for you to just generalize like that.
