Just barely. Thanks for the catch.
Another season, another LAN. Here's another pseudo-article on my thoughts regarding Invite as the season winds down.
BP is looking unstoppable after Gravel Pit week. At 10-0 and having given up just 7 rounds, they are on route to matching the final look of Classic Mixup in S12. Furthermore, they don't play any major competition (Mixup and Fully Torqued) for the rest of the season. Their remaining matches include Xensity and AG twice, a forfeit win off Don't Trip, and Vector Gaming. Honestly, I don't think BP will give up even rounds to anyone given how they're playing, and they've already 5-0'd the likes of AG and Chess Club before. It's worth noting that BP has yet to play Mixup on 5CP, so we'll see how that matchup goes come LAN.
Having to play every team save BP, Classic Mixup seems solidified for LAN. A forfeit win makes them 8-3, and given how schedules work it might even be possible for them to make LAN just off one more win. Of course, they're heavy favorites against opponents like AG and Xensity and look to take the second seed going into LAN. The matches against Chess Club and Fully Torqued will be the ones to watch for, to see if Chess Club's new lineup is strong enough and if they can remedy the earlier loss to FT (albeit with a shifted roster).
Fully Torqued are at 7-5 (two forfeits) and look good to make LAN. As mentioned, the rematch against Mixup will be something to watch, and then they play the rest of their competitors on various 5CP. It's been a while since we've seen the group on 5CP given the forfeit shenanigans around Metalworks week, but expect to see some good matches across the board for Seagull, Justin, and PYYYOUR and a solid finish out of Fully Torqued.
Chess Club have now picked up Clockwork and the roster certainly looks much more threatening just of it. They, like Fully Torqued also grab two forfeit wins along the way to match Fully Torqued's 7-5. In fact, they're quite similar to Fully Torqued with the two forfeit wins, never having to play BP again, and similar rosters (solid combo, crazy Scouts, etc.), and the race to the finish between these two teams will be the most intense / exciting. Chess Club definitely look good to take wins off of Vector and AG, and I have a feeling the match against Fully Torqued on Badlands will be the crucial decider for third seed.
After bringing Ma3la in, the 5-5 Xensity crew have been looking good, but they have their work cut out for them if they want a chance at going to LAN. They play BP twice, Mixup once, and Vector twice. Under normal predictions, that makes them 7-8, and would require a victory over Fully Torqued in order to be .500 at the end of the season. It will come down to how Fully Torqued performs against Chess Club and Mixup to see who can make the critical 9-7 mark. If they had a forfeit win over Don't Trip would have made this even more interesting, like if it was over a BP match.
I doubt Apocalypse Gaming will be able to make fourth seed. Namely, the two matches against BP will essentially seal the deal, leaving them at 3-9. However, they most certainly have an influence over the LAN seedings, where their performances against Fully Torqued and Chess Club will certainly affect how the end of the LAN race will go down. Look for Rando and Chriztahfah to continue to step up and possibly force some upsets.
Vector Gaming had a monstrous win over Fully Torqued last week but unfortunately, the rest of the season looks to pan out like the beginning couple of weeks. From Mixup to Xensity, BP to Chess Club, they're clear underdogs for the remaining matches. It's impossible for Vector to make LAN with their 1-9 record, but hey, I would love to see more upsets down the line.
Rest in peace, Don't Trip. The LAN race would have been much more interesting had you stayed alive, but hopefully the final weeks of the season will be exciting enough.
I'd always be down to have another person to talk to etc. Added.
Logic dabes.
KhakiNo disrespect meant to to Eldritch but, He's not an invite medic and he's not a gurl gamer = why did dt want him to play????
They had no more roster changes available due to the Clckwrk and Blaze antics so the only option was to activate one of their backups.
Edit--Whoop, didn't see the new page lol. Too bright!

A solid Scout with good comms, and a pretty chill guy.
Pray that the client will be fixed in time.
But the Last Straw is now paintable!!! ...whatever the fuck that is.
Let's hope the MOTW can be played at the very least.
These guys are chill and dedicated group. Lick is a cool guy. :3 Best of luck.
Falcons > 49'ers
My heart wants the 49'ers to win though, and they probably will if the Falcons continue to make costly turnovers.
Edit: And then there's a 49'ers turnover lol.
New England > Baltimore.
I'm a die hard Patriots fan, haha. Any good game will do though.
