The most important thing we're looking for is a strong maincaller. For the past two seasons I (unfortunately) did the bulk of the calling, with mixed results. Not only would a strong calling presence on pocket help the general flow of the team, but it'd allow me to just focus on playing Medic, which I'd deeply appreciate. Be an in-game leader and we will follow you, simple as that. Alternatively, if a combo Scout has the maincalling chops Don wouldn't be opposed to switching to the flank side of things.

As always, no toxicity, no immaturity, etc. etc. It's crucial to have a good Mumble environment no matter the situation. I typically don't have experience requirements (and have picked up plenty of players without such in the past) but this time around we want to have an established group from the get-go so we can start practicing and preparing for next season ASAP. Therefore, people who have previously played Advanced will be higher on our priority lists.

I feel like shitting on Slicerogue is really unnecessary in that regard. He and his team still played well throughout the series and yeah they lost it but at the end of the day they placed top four in an extremely competitive Main division this season.

Hell of a comeback from Watch This though, that shit was insane. With their backs up against the wall they took five rounds in 25 minutes. Kudos to them.

We're closing in on the finale of Amateur in Season 4, with the winner heading to Grand Finals. #1 Sweaty Spaghetti is up against #4 WAP on Snakewater, Sunshine, and Clearcut. Sweaty Spaghetti are looking to claim their another championship early in their team career. They have gone undefeated since their beginnings in Newcomer last season, who could stop them? Perhaps their opponents: WAP are returnees from Amateur and have compiled two solid seasons (and playoff runs) under their belt. This should be a classic. Join Tery and fleskore at 9:30 EST. All I know is the only time I ever felt short being 5'11" was when I went to RGB2 LAN and the hulking giants of people like bearodactyl, Reflecto, hedgehog_hero and more towered over me for the entire weekend.

Edit: Thankfully more average height people showed up to the next two events and I felt normal again.

It's difficult to go 2-14 at a higher level (speaking from personal experience). It's also difficult to keep teams alive for a season (have you seen this community?).

I think that bMg's season speaks volumes about je'mond's ability as both a player and a leader. Yes, they didn't win many games. However, they not only toughed it out, but improved as individuals and a team. Pretty sure they were only "out of it" for like three matches all season. To do that you need to balance that thin line between keeping morale and Mumble atmosphere high while still focusing on the game and what needs to be fixed. For eight+ weeks. That falls on the shoulders of the captain. You don't see many capable team leaders nowadays, but make no mistake: je'mond is one of them.

Really hope that the squad can stay together, but in a worst case scenario I have no doubt he will find a good home for next season. Looking forward to your next match and next cast brother.

It all comes down to this. Dissonant Harmony hosts Rolling Bombs tonight at 9:30 EST on Snakewater for an all-important match. Both teams are 4-3 on the season. Both teams are on the precipice of playoffs. One team will win and punch their ticket to the postseason. The other will go home. Looking forward to a high-stakes Newcomer duel.

If I ran my calculations correctly, HRTeam can still make playoffs if and only if they defeat Alan Gaming with a minimum three round margin. Anything less than that and they're eliminated from playoff contention. Should be a spicy Gullywash game.

For Kronge Realm, they could potentially sneak into the #1 seed with a win and a Football Team upset over Milkies. I think their playoff hopes are safe, just a matter of seed even should they lose.

For HRTeam, they need to run the gauntlet - defeat Kronge Realm and Alan Gaming for their playoff chances. Even winning out doesn't guarantee them a spot since it'd then come down to round%. But a victory tonight would be a fantastic first step.
