Not really - they paid that money and devoted that time because they *wanted* to be part of the LAN experience. I don't really think the nature of VTV's coverage played any factor in their decisions to go. What they do deserve is decent coverage, just as the people at home do.
Which leads me to a further question: Why should the people who are there have different standards for what is good in coverage for them? Whether they're watching on-site or online, they're watching because they have an interest in competitive TF2, so the same principles should apply in producing a quality product for both audiences.

He did not say anything as to *why* they were not available, presumably because he didn't know. He certainly said nothing about them being exclusive, or being in any way withheld by VTV, because that IS NOT THE CASE AND YOU JUST MADE IT UP.

Yeah, talking to people in the middle of a huge event is not the same as giving them time to think and then vote. Especially when not all the people who should get a vote were there - the captains of the other six Invite teams should get to vote as well, and I doubt Killing took the time in the middle of LAN to talk to all of them.

Point is, regardless of the circumstances surrounding it, the question of whether to ban the Quick Fix should be treated the same as the question of whether to ban any other weapon in the game.
